Actually, Diya, as a person who followed JDJ6 quite closely, I remember DD & SI scoring a 27/30 in that episode. And, Lauren has frankly never scored below 27! So, I don't think, it would have stayed in Lauren's mind, especially considering, it was ultimately DD who was her competition & not Sanaya. As much as I think, Lauren was the best dancer in her season, she doesn't seem to have gotten a hold on judging. If you notice, her entire scoring has been vague & inconsistent without any set standard visible. So, I doubt, she would take an issue with Sanaya over something that happened 2yrs ago. Moreover, I honestly, believe, Lauren knew from the channel itself that she had very little chance of winning. Contestants like her are brought to bring quality to the dance show, to establish standard because most stars wouldn't be trained dancers. I think, the channel does tell them of their minimal chances of winning. I remember, Lauren herself saying that she doesn't expect to win because the format of the show isn't designed that way, & she had said it with no bitterness whatsoever. She seems to be a strange & inconsistent judge, but I think, drawing links between what happened two years ago to her disastrous 1st week scoring is stretching it a little. Sanaya fans should relax for a while. The show will take a while to settle because it has a new set of judges who are finding their way, too. Let's see if her scoring continues to be weird.

Frankly, I don't think Lauren is petty ... and I don't even think she is doing it consciously ... if she is at all. It's her first time as judge, she must be trying her best to be as impartial as possible. But she lost to DD in that season, DD and San are great friends, San was there three times with DD, including one performance ... would she remember that? Or rather, would she be able to forget that completely?

On the other hand, I managed to watch three performances of the second day, and Lauren really had nothing much to say ... to all three, she told the choreographers to'work on ' their celebs .. including Sanaya. With Sanaya, she actually added a more specific comment ... so in that sense, although she gave her less marks than the other judges, she gave her more helpful advice ... which as a Dance guru, she is supposed to be doing for all contestants. So I'm more inclined to think it's her inexperience showing, but there is a definite memory of her own season ... she mentioned her own season a zillion times!
