LOL! When was "Dancing with the Stars" was ever about dancing. I haven't watched the Indian versions too much but I've seen the American version. During the first season, Kelly Monaco (Sam from General hospital) won. But, there was a huge outcry because fan favorite John O' Hurley didn't win. This is despite Kelly doing better than John. In Season 13, Rob Kartrashian was a runner up. The show and its format is not about the most competent dancer (Lauren). It is about the most popular. Whether, Lauren wins or not, she meets her initial objectives for this show. celebs go on these shows to put their name out in the public. In Lauren's case, her main objective is to be an actress and increase the general public awareness of her in India. She has succeeded. She has gained quite an impressive fan following. This sends a message to movie directors and producers that she has an extensive fanbase and if they hire her, they will show up during the opening week. As for Drashti, she ain't as bad as a dancer some of you are making her out to be. I saw the Ganpati performance. It was good. BTW, Lauren's dancing at So you think you can dance trumps Jhalak dancing. If you think it is mind-blowing, you haven't seen amazing performances. If you want to see "dancers" win, watch So you think you can Dance. I do agree the judges are useless. The American judges like Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli are harsh. No one gets a 10 so easily. Heck, they wouldn't even give Lauren a 10 that easily. I miss the harsh judges. Personally, I want Shaan to win just because the outcry by Lauren and Drashti fans would be so entertaining. I think all of the top 4 are deserving and all of them will end up "winning" because the goal really isn't about the trophy.
