After reading many comments on the forum, I wasn't expecting much from this weekend's performances. But I finally got time to catch the show.
I can't believe people wanted these Kids to go, I am baffled seeing such out rage against those who are actually dancing on this stage. From the comments, I read, I thought their act must have been filled with only lifts. Yes sure it had many lifts, but some of them were different and apt for the classical act of theirs.
I was spellbound seeing them give me so much of dancing keeping aside the lifts. Even in the lifts, they were doing something, loved the one where Shonali was dancing on Sumant's shoulder. Simply bravo especially the co-ordination like Remo pointed out. Their act continuously had pure dancing and doing classical ain't a joke. I mean I am no expert, but from a perception of a general audience I was pleasantly surprised. I am glad I got to see an Indian dance form from them after a while.
I am sorry, but these Kids deserve to be here. It's unfair and unfortunate that people only see the lifts and not the dancing these kids perform on the stage. I mean even if I were to exclude the lifts, there is so much more to their acts than simply lifts. So I am glad to see them on the stage rocking week after week, tiny bundle of talent
