Expressing an opinion about her dancing is perfectly fine...some liked it, others not so much...and I definitely agree that Lauren and Mukti did a much better job this week! But completely discrediting Drashti as a non-dancer (ala Mantra or Siddharth) is probably being a bit harsh, don't u think? Oh and criticising her clothes as vulgar just shows how backward some people's thinking can be. 😕 In a dance show, the decision for the dance, the costumes, make up, hair, lighting...it is a TEAM effort including the show's designers...it is not a decision made by the performer himself/herself to show some skin!

I thought we were over with this Vulgar Issue. But then again, I think the fans enjoy her vulgarity.

A dress isn't vulgar ever, if that's used in right way and in the right place. The issue of vulgarity came in due to licking legs and displaying her body without a step of dance in a bamboo, in the name of ritual.

Poor choreography made her dresses and her act vulgar...I'm sure she wanted that, so Salman did it..

The judges have gone to the cleaners, throwing out 30s like it's cotton candy or lollipops. What half-baked and trite comments. For the mother of god, I could have given better comments...effin' pay ME! 😆

Firstly, so much to dissect, but starting off with a standing O to the duo for stepping out of their comfort zone every week and trying something new. It's good they are represnting something new b/c half the population doesn't even know a real Afro Jazz. And a plethora of flying roses to Salman for learning AJ and then teaching Drashti. Forgetting the old and learning something from scratch and then teaching another--effin' difficult.

Now to the actual dance and technique of it all. It's supposed to be way more energetic. And I goggled Afro Jazz b/c I've seen only one performance on DWTS with Mark and Aly. Basically, AJ developed as an artistic tool to protest so a lot of the energy coming from the dance symbolizes rebellion and not wanting to conform. There's suppose to be a lot of strong leg work (way more than salman choreographed) like jumping, shuffling, and actual pounding. In addition to this, upper body especially arms are supposed to be in use more and less lifts.

It was a decent performance and a diluted AJ so I wouldn't give it a 30. I did like that they were parrots (very defiant and unconventional) even though I was wary about it, intially.

In context to other performances, it was far more entertaining. I guess b/c they always do those tricky lifts it's more exciting to watch, then say performances that are strictly lift-less (not a word 😆). The trick factor is there, but I really do think performances should be judged on dance, technique, and actual execution.

Just compare their enthusiasm with which they utter those words, show the points and reactions of all concerned with DD and the other performances received 30 and the previous video. You will see the difference, I felt it.

Consider, judges comments, expressions and reactions of the public, contestants and the hosts .. At that point.

She never deserved 30.. Not for any of her acts.. All she does is tries to seek attention with her vulgar dressing or OTT makeup, and then use that annoying laugh of hers to get her way.. And I'm 100% sure that colors paid the judges to promote this random Bala...

And Remo OBVIOUSLY has his favorites and is biased... He is just so partial.. They weren't even in sinc yet he gives them 10 and "This is it" like candy in Halloween and is so harsh towards the kids who are clearly way beyond these mediocre dancers...

Drashti can't dance an... She just shows her skin and gets lifted around from one place to another... And let's not even get to her dancing of the parrots she did... LMAO... That was jokes and cringe-worthy at the same time... It's official, Salman needs good dancers to perform well otherwise, he is very ordinary..
