Jhalak consists of "acts" and "performances". Have you ever seen a broadway show? It consists of fierce movements and expressions with fancy, revealing yet bold and powerful costumes and movements. That is not called vulgar

Dancers unfortunately can't wear a 9 yard sari and perform complicated steps, thats not how it works in the real world.

And people should follow your definition of vulgarity
Whatever happened to "subjectivity", does that not exist in "real world" or what 🤪

I don't think her acts were that bad as you are saying...she is improving and you can't blame only her for the acts as Salman is the choreo,DD does only what she is told to do...her two acts were a bit sensous but I think that is how these dance forms are supposed to be...about your liking her...that is not possible as you hate her blindly ...so you can never appreciate her efforts...between not voted for your poll...

dear, i belong to India and i never watched that show you are talking about. If i ever watched it i would have been used to watching any lewd and vulgar performance then. Even if she doesn't wear sari or others, but please choose other decent attire which makes people comfortable when they are watching her performance with their family. The last week her performance was full of embarrassment specially the part where she took a lift up. Since, you are used to watching Broadway show, then i don't think you would find Drashti's last week performance embarrassing one iota so now i think it's time wasting to talk about Vulgarty and embarrassing with those, who have followed these things in other shows.

True true, It is a waste of time talking about vulgarity with a section of the Universe who definitely don't watch performances. I think a show like Jhalak isn't meant for the Indian audience in general to be quite honest.
Funny thing is, personally when i watch bollywood movies, namely movies which have "item songs" with an actress in a ghagra choli dancing with men all around in a bar (RE: Dabanng, Shootout at wala's and many many others) such scenes make me uncomfortable, i find it difficult to watch those scenes with family considering Indian Cinema portrays a lady just to "entertain" the male population.

I'd find that more disturbing than a performance where an actress is literally entirely clothed and just occasionally reveals a portion of her leg while doing an international dance form. I really don't classify it as vulgar but hey! Everyone has their opinions, i understand you clearly have a dislike for the actress in concern = Drashti Dhami but coming up with a valid negative point would be much more appreciated. If someone had to say Drashti's lifts or footwork isn't that good, i'd 100% agree but such petty stands such as vulgarity don't hold alot of weight atleast for the part of the audience who are aware of the world outside and how true "dance performances" are meant to be like.

Now according to your own warped sense of logic, you must secretly love us. 😳

Oh means the thread maker is a basher 😲
You also admitted it😕

Nah, she was only talking in the language you all are well apt with, why make it more difficult for you to decipher 😉

No wonder she quoted the term bashers, but looks like someone missed the significance of that and even the hint of sarcasm 😆😆

At least TM's topics get all the hits and even get members involved who vowed not to enter such topics and of course how can we forget your esteem presence for Aji 😛

As you all say, one can love him or hate him but will never be able to ignore him 😎
