Its not for the non dancers ...but its also not dancing with the choreographers ... Pairing two choreos does not makes sense ... If you think this is ill talking .. than u shud have seen the forum last season were there was a new post every day about how isha shud not participate becoz she was trained in two-three forms ...

that means Stars and celebrities from every field ( actors , dancers, Tv hosts, comedian , sports and many)

If u guys have seen the USA version u will understand that

...some choreographers r given some celebrities with whom dey have to perform n give der best ...it dosent matter if dey r dancers or not ...dey will be given der dance forms n will be judged on there concept , der dresses, der expressions , n der moves ...overall how well they have managed to pull off der performance ...

season 1 - shweta salve was a dancer (she didnt win though )

season 2 -

season 3 - gauhar khan was a dancer (she didnt get a good cheoregrapher dats y in former epies she didnt perform well but later her cherographer was changed n den it was 30's for gauher but she didnt win )

season 4- yana gupta was a dancer (didnt win )

season 5 - isha n rashmi desi both were dancers (both didnt win )

It's not people's fault. The producers themselves end up promoting that.

How each contestant would end up saying ... Oh, never danced before, now I know how to ...blah blah... and look I won! People started taking it as a non dancers concept.

I have been a huge fan of American version of JDJ --- So, when I started watching Indian version, even I got confused. And then the way they started promoting every contestant as non-dancers, thought maybe their version might be a bit different.

But yes, the concept is simply dancing with the stars .. nothing to do with being a dancer or not.

As far as Lauren's concerned ... My only point's she should have been there as a choreo, not as a celeb. Yes, Salman and Lauren could be tagged as celebs now, but even if Salman was there as a contestant wouldn't have agreed. I find they are professional dancers and not fair to normal actors, even if they can dance or not.

And about lauren and Mukti , I know its tough to compete with them in terms of dancing but they dont have a huge fan following .. and even Isha and Sushant are professional dancers .. Sushant was with Shaimaks dancing troup and Isha is also part of some dancing group .. ..

Yes, I could say the same about Shweta but I'm clueless about what's keeping her down. If people say, because her choreographer was bad then I definitely disagree. Jitna Bhi Bura Uska choreographer Ho, being a dancer, she should have at least reached his level. She did not even do that. Like Remo once said, and I agree with him, a choreographer can direct you to the right places ... but what you do between point A and B, that's totally your responsibility.

I can't comment on Sushant, because he was a blur ... I don't even remember him properly, but as far as Isha is concerned. Even she was a dancer, but one of the reasons why Salman and Isha did great was that unlike Shweta, Isha knew how to handle herself without a choreographer. Keeping the fact aside, that yes, Salman's a great choreographer. Even if she was not with Salman, I think, Isha would have still done good but since she was ... they were simply breath taking together!

Not everything should be blamed on the choreographers. A star has a responsibility too, to reach a certain level by himself, generally speaking.

Now when I see Lauren. I don't see a celeb dancing with a choreographer. I see two choreographers dancing together. And honestly speaking, Lauren's a much better dancer than the choreographer. And as far as Lauren's concerned, that's the only complaint I have.

And now let's see how Mukti does ... 😆 And how Shweta does with Savio.

I personally see no male contestant as strong as female contestants this season. Except Shaan, maybe. Though like you said, Lauren and Mukti might face problems in voting department but right now, I'm only seeing DD and Salman giving them tough competition. Or should I say, them giving tough competition to DD.
