See my point is that every Channel has specific Audience & they do not know about actors from other Channels . So it would be great to see if other channels also promote their top actor & actress .

See Just Like Colors have their Shiv - Madhubala - Amma Ji .

Zee TV has Sahiba .

Sony has Sweety .

Life OK had Viraj .

Rest Shaan - Lauren - Kids - Aarti (Is film Actress) Colors will promote them as per their performances .

Srikant never needed promotion as he was himself a great name .

I would like to see Sony - Life - Zee too promoting their Stars as they have Audience on their Channel .

Whole issue of promotion would be resolved 😉 .

How can other channels promote without any official request from colors and JDJ ?

They can promote them as individuals, but not as JDJ contestants, but he channels won't be interested in promoting an individual for no reason, they rather promote their program. Actors are temporary, Any actor can be replaced anytime ... . That's the concept in serials..

JDJ is a color's program and no channel will promote any contestant or JDJ without being paid by Colors ..

The proposition is quite unrealistic..

first of all maharati of tv n other known celebs doesn't need promotion.. colors are not promoting their actor they are promoting their show jhalak

they want trps so why not grap their own show viewers thats the reason behind promoting their own actors

Reality shows are meant to be TRP boosters, so that's what they are doing..😉

If i remember then..Maahi Vij who played role of Black faced Nakusha in Laagi Tujhse Lagan which used to air on COLORS...at that time she participated in JDJ which was on SONY at that time...Sony just introduced her as Popular Bahu Tag...thats it...😉

As a psychologist if I ever need people for case studies again I will round up a bunch of IF fangirls and take them with me. If I put my braincells to some productive use, I would know that some other channel cannot promote a celebrity appearing in a rival channel's show. It would literally amount to promoting the show itself and consequently the channel. We know how much Indian channels compete for TRPs. There is no way in hell that a channel like, say, Sony will dump promoting it's own shows, even for 30 seconds and invest that time in promoting some other channel.

Sony has a legal and professional contract with Shweta, woh uske ghar ke chacha-tau nahi hain jo usko apne channel pe promote karenge. Colors is promoting DD and Sid (to some extent) because they both rake in the moolah for the channel. They're also aware of their large fanbase. They're also simply playing their trump card. There's no generosity of heart here, FYI.
