the show is named DANCING WITH THE STARS...so only celebrities will grace the stage...also even if stars like DD SS MM ST have higher chances of winning then its bcz of the hard work they hve put in ...they hve showed their mentle in balika vadhu laado kasauti madhubala..therefore ppl knw them n will defo vote for dem...ROME WAS NOT MADE IN A SINGLE DAY...similarly a stars fandom is nt a thing which is generated so soon...actors also work hard therefore they deserve huge votes

I have a bit of problem with what you say. First unlike a show like DID where all contestants are more of similar level the level of contestants in a show like JDJ are varied on one hand you have a participant of the calibre of Lauren who is a professional dancer to someone like Shaan who has two left feet so the concept to begin with has been a popularity contest. Secondly even if we eliminate public voting there would be a lot of accuse of judges or channel being biased. Third is the fan base we see is of forum people who are fans of serial actors but there is a much larger population who are not a part of the forum who are fans of other celebs as was the case with Bhaichung or Mayank and now that of Shaan. Hence your assumption of some specific person having a very strong fan base vis-a-vis others might be wrong.

i think KVB also has fans equal to sid and DD. somewhere read a poll results on one website, in south india, Drashti and KVB leading.

swetha sure has fan following otherwise she wouldn't have win the BB.

Laurence has so much popularity but its out side India. so this one to be consider.
