This is not a pure dance based show like DID which only rewards competent dancers. This is a celebrity show which rewards dancers who may not be great dancers but show progression in their dance during the course of the show. Needless to say that they need to be popular in order to win the public votes for after 50 per cent depends on public voting. Look at all the past winners.

1.JDJ 1 - Mona Singh
2.JDJ 2 - Prachi Desai
3.JDJ 3 - Baichung Bhutia
4.JDJ 4 - Chang
5.JDJ 5 - Gurmeet

So when all past winners are not great dancers but have improved considerably during the programme and are immensely popular, why can't Drashti win if she shows improvement? Isn't it too early to dismiss her off on the basis of one performance?


As to the channel fixing the results, how come Gurmeet who was never a part of colors won the show last year? Rashmi who was a long time star of color's uttaran could not win it.

Channel is not biased. Otherwise Pratyusha would have won the show. Gurmeet never did any show for Colors.

Gurmeet won because of votes from his fans. Not because he is the best.

even rashmi was color's baby...if not pratyusha then rashmi should have won the show in case channel was biased...

i am not favoring colors channel but last year they didn't give us the opportunity to blame them...at least in case of the winner of the show...but yes,it is true that as members of colors channel; drashti,siddarth and meghna will be given more publicity just like rashmi and pratyusha were given last year...
