Its not KATHAKALI.Similar to Katakali .This is Yakshagana from Karnataka.

Yakshagana (yakagna, [jkan]) is a theater form that combines dance, music, dialogue, costume, make-up, and stage techniques with a unique style and form. This theater style, resembling Western opera, is mainly found in the coastal districts and the Malenadu region of India. Yakshagana is traditionally presented from dusk to dawn.

Dont know wat had happened to judges...It was awesum..it was the oly act truly deserves 30...He carried 12kgs weighted dress...and did some steps n air...Like TJ said he never complains...SHAMPA is truly in form...The best guru in JDJ7...

They deserved more similar thing if would have tried by Punoo Remo would have given 10 😳

i know !!! :(...i don understand ...it had a concept..it was funny..the expressions were great...d dance form was performed almost to perfection..still d judges felt somethin was missing..whereas in akshats case, they just blindly give 30...agree vaishnavi is awesome n a mindblowing dancer,,but shez d choreographer..in many of the acts, i feel akshat isnt upto the mark but the acts turns out well coz of the partner..don understand the judging this time !!

The only thing that was wrong in their act was the judgement given by the "amazing" panel of world class judges 😵

Exactly I mentioned dis in AS's AT in RR forum...not oly 10 they might gave standing ovation to them...dis much work from a non dancer and he didnt get wat actually he deserves..Judges should feel guilty for wat they had done to Ashish...

What can u except from a Man whose known because of dance is favouring his students regardless of the Dance .. A person who cannot be honourable towards his profession how can we expect Fairness from him...

Even I too dint understand why they dint give full 30 for ashish...!!ashish and shampa really did a wonderful performance..!!and ashish sharma's expressions was awesome..his eyes particularly..he deserves 30..!!why these judges give nice comments but dint gives full marks...
