exactly there was no mocking...come on, i am not that insensitive..
maybe i used the word sympathy-card which was not appropriate (but such situations r derived from real life instances only, by the trp hungry channels)
i should have called it emotional angle..
and its not too late either...i am changing the title now😊

Why are pple saying it sympathy call?? Thry did not highlight her injury.. Or it wasnt that big an issue either.. I thought the act was more of a thanks-giving gesture to her parents who encouraged them to pursue diff careers.. The injury was just a part of it.. It was never a highlight..
And regarding getting emotional.. I think every parent gets emotional to see their children excel in their lives..their reaction was justified .
Only kjo's comments cracked me up...lol..he started with his family drama bhashan..that cud have been edited..otherwise remo and madhuris comments wete appropriate too..

A real life incident which has to be inspiration is mocked while Gay angles r encouraged often and Kamasutra and cooking and what not.

I would have been touched by the incident even if it wasn't of Shakti because thats what tells how I am as a person😊

No offence.

I can't judge everything in a negative way.

knowing Shakti she give a damn about sympathy and all :-)
may be it was sympathy call or watever for you but it can be inspiration for most of the people out there who actually dare to dream despite of so many obstacle and disabilities.
Forget about other i got inspired when i came to know about her childhood in 2010.

she is not the one of the crybaby types girl.
TBH this is the first time i saw her emotional

Why should people know about her struggles? In that case I'm sure every contestant has a sob story. No need for the sympathy votes to be honest. Just be yourself and your dance will speak for itself.

Having said that, Shakti performed beautifully. Her story was inspiring and made every girl and every parent of girls really proud. I loved the whole 'girl' speech on how a girl should be given just the same amount of rights and freedom as a guy.
