Vickey Lalwani Prachi Desai, Ekta Kapoor Your friend, Prachi Desai has won the Jhalak 2… trophy. I am delighted. I wanted to go for the finale, but could not make it. Where were you when she held the trophy up? I was at Siddhi Vinayak temple. You were there to pray for her victory?! (Laughs) Well, I go to Siddhi Vinayak on Saturdays now. I stopped going on Tuesdays because it's too crowded. Did Prachi call you up to break the news? No, it was her mother who first broke the news to me. She was in touch with me while I was walking towards Siddhi Vinayak. How did you feel when Jay Bhanushali was eliminated? I felt bad for him. Did you call up Sandhya Mridul after the results were announced? After all, she was your good friend once upon a time... I am going to call her up. Urmila Matondkar (judge) said that Sandhya was the winner according to her... Urmila is a close friend of mine. I definitely didn't mind her saying that. Sandhya is a better dancer than Prachi. But, Prachi is more popular. She is known as Bani everywhere. If Sandhya had been doing my show Koshish right now, she would have been equally popular. So, how are you celebrating Prachi's victory? I am hosting a party at my new house on December 21 to celebrate her victory. It will be a 3-in-1 celebration as we are also celebrating two weddings - that of actor Anupam Bhattacharya and my creative director Nivedita Basu.

😆 Hilarious! So indirectly Ekta Kapoor took all the credit. She finally avenged her enmity with Sandhya Mridul. This looks like Ekta vs. Sandhya now.

But I guess Ekta is feeling proud because her shows' character won against Sandhya with whom Ekta have some scores to settle. During Koshish-Ek Aasha Sandhya and Ekta had a bad tiff which spoiled their friendship and since then Sandhya has been vocal about regressive saas-bahu shows.

Even through wild card entry Ekta showed her power. Sony is in dire need of hit shows and Ekta has promised the channel more of her shows and obviously calls the shots at channel these days.

In all this one thing which gets ignored is Prachi actually is a good dancer and as Shiamak said the one contestant who improved maximum but sad that even her mentor is taking away all her credit.
