JDJ - a dance AND POPULARITY based show

Get it ppl. This is a popularity based show. NOT a talent hunt. If it is a talent hunt, the decision to decide the winner should NOT be given to general public where a lot of ppl do not really know the technicalities of different art forms.

Also, this is a popularity based show because all the participants are CELEBRITIES. If this is not about popularity, we would not be having celebrities competing.

Please give us a break and stop repeating yourself by constantly telling that Prachi won because she is popular. What are you saying? Did she not dance? Did she just stood still and then just got votes because she was popular? Let me remind you, she got ONLY ONE POINT LESS THAN the so called the better dancer.

I totally agree - I started watching the show because I had seen PD in KS and wanted to see what she was like in real life, it was the same with RR.

What i don't get is that with celebrity status comes popularity, so how can people harp about PD's win, when the whole format of teh show is based on Popularity?????

I could understand if people were talking about Mika 0% talent and had won JDJ because of popularity. PD has proved that she is a great dancer, when in the final round she was only one point behind Sandhya.

People need to stop harping on about PD winning because of her popularity, because at teh end of teh day this is a popularity contest. It is not our fault if Sandhya is not a popular contestant.

I'm under the understanding that being a celebrity (big or small) comes with popularity and I was also under the understanding this JDJ wasn't a talent hunt show. 😕

It is the "celebrity" status of the contestants that attracts the audience and that is the core concept! I don't see what the problem is with being "popular"? 😕

All of the contestants worked really hard and what is unfair is how some are belittling the efforts of others.

U said it!!! JDJ is not a Talent Show but an Entertainment Show.
But the Fianlae was in bad taste,the behaviour of judges and fellow contestants left in bad taste esp when its being aired on National TV.Thy behaved like school kids.
Only shamak gave PD a warm hug,rest all seemed to be busy trying to console Sandy,i have nothing against that but PD was the winner it was her day and thy way they all behaved left a bad taste.
I am no Bani fan,just cant stand her and not a PD fan either but after yest i raelly liked that gal,the way she hold herself gracefully inspite the way she was treated.
In her first elimination she was so dignified and hold herself so well and yest after the way people reacted to her win she was calm and composed ,though she was hurt but for a 19yrs old she handled the situation with so much dignity.
How much i wished KS team should have been there,esp RK,Ashwini and Aurinima thy would have made her feel special.
Well i am sure of real celebrartion are ahead for PD on KS sets as KS crew adores her and will make it spl for her there.
Finally all i have to say is PD was Destined to WIN JDJ and all things just fell in place coz GOD Wanted her to WIN.
Wish her all Success and Happiness in life,Praying she gets all Sucess and Man she wants in her life and reach new hieghts

Yes, I dont know why ppl think this is a talent hunt show. Either they are watching a different show than us, or they simply cant accept any good thing about that girl.🤢

First I would like to say, Prachi shouldn't have been in the finals...I am not a Bani fan, Prachi fan...i didn't like her earlier, but now the way she carried herself during the finals has changed my opinion about her.
Whether she deserved to win or not is a completely different issue, but the way the fellow contestants, judges and all treated her was wrong. I felt really bad when I saw her face, she genuinely was hurt. I felt like crying for her. Prachi is a sweetheart. I have begun to like her.

About PD being in finals, well the WC was unfair but I do not mind it as it brought a good contestant back to the contest. Like someone else mentioned, if the same thing had happened to other good dancer, I would not have minded that as well.😊

Yea like I said her deserving to win or not is not an issue. Prachi's look said it all, I felt for her. Despite that she was happy and it touched my heart.

I'm really disappointed by the way all behaved with prachi 😡 .But Prachi let me tell you something gold is shows its true value when put through rigorous test.And to people who said that jeetuji was supposedly partial to prachi; did u even see that he did'nt even have the coutesy to congratulate prachi. If ekta would have supported prachi even jeetuji would have supported her.God I can't believe they all behaved so immaturely and rudely towards an innocent girl who they called an immature and childish; then what are these people.All of them should be ashamed of themselves.Are bhai its good to console the loser but it's also a decency/courtesy to congratulate the winner which most of them didn't have in them. And I really felt mika was better than all these people atleast he knows how to behave with people.

And coming to sandhya how and in what way is she a better dancer than prachi?? Prachi is a better and flexible dancer; she has a lot of grace X factor and the down-to-earth attitude when compared to sandhya.Sandhya is also a good dancer but not as graceful as prachi, when sandhya dances her we can clearly see that her body is very stiff. And not to mention her big bloated attitude which she even displayed even after she lost it to parchi. If sandhya got full scores in prevoius rounds its solely becuz of the obvoius partiality of the judges which she truly didn't deserve.Eventhough prachi was in the second position in marks than sandhya, whose difference was only a mark which is negligable.

And to all of the sandhya fans, Jhalak Diklaa jaa is a show of the celebrities dancing; you cant blame or criticize a celebrity since he/she is very popular.And this show is not solely about talent but also the X-Factor and also the popularity of the celebrity and also as a human being.If sandhya is not popular or she did'nt get enough votes; she solely is the one to be blamed becuz of her attitude problems.

Anyways CONGRATS PRACHI!!! Its time for celebration. Not to mention Akshay was a sweetheart.

You said it really, well its a popularity contest after all thats why only celebs are brought in.

All of them were deserving in someway ..that they reached to the finale, their hard work, audience support..etc..etc..made them reach to that point.
