I have been fan of Sandhya since her TV days. I love her cominc role in Chhoti si Asha. Her Balaji bahu role in Koshish. Also she did one serial Muskaan. And I loved her in Page 3 and as Rani's sister in Saathiya.

She remains the same in last 10 years of her career. Looks, attitude everything. Actually I like the way she handles herself and is very clear in what she wants and what she thinks is right/wrong.

I agree. I remember Koshish ... Ek Asha. Undoubtedly the best Balaji serial. And yes, Sandhya was the very first Balaji bahu and a believable one. Unlike these days prototype k-serials, Koshish had a soul. I still remember the heartrenching perils of a woman trapped in a strange marriage. It was such a great portrayal by both Sandhya Mridul and Varun Badola. (what more can I say about his acting, I really thought he was mentally challenged! but I was very young.) It was a really touching story. God knows how much I cried in that serial. And and situation was believable. Scenes were really touching and not dramatically shot. And performance by the lead pair was top notch. Although towards the end the story went quite haywire, and I never knew how it ended. Those were the days when even an Ekta serial was not about woman vamps with large bindis, reincarnations for the 3rd time, impromptu item songs, murders and rapes within the family and basically nothing too dramatic. Koshish was a story of an unusual situation but it was still believable. If only Ekta continued with such quality instead of the "working formula quantity serials" she produces now.

I totally agree with you...it was the best serial even Varun Badola was really good in it, the story line was very enticing it kept me glued, unlike these Ekta serials where all the dead characters are brought back to life. 😆

I never watched Koshish but used to hear a LOT about it, it was something of a phenomemon in those days.Even today my colleagues talk about that show with admiration, and all applaud her acting. 👏

I don't think Sandhya has ANY reason to be even remotely jealous of Prachi on that front because, much as I like Prachi as a person, Kasam Se and Bani are the very worst examples of typical K-Krap. 🤢 🤢 🤢

If Sandhya has been a bahu, then it seems she was not a popular one, so maybe grapes are sour where Prachi is concerned.

first of all..i think she was talking about the show "Koshish" which came about 10 years ago..and for ur kind info, it was a damn good show. This show was before all the daily shows started, and it was similar to Dulhan from Zee where bride gets married to a retarted guy without her knowledge.

All she said was she knows the popularity that comes with being a bahu in popular show...she is right, after all that's why Prachi was brought back caz she is popular🤢, otherwise there were unfair eliminations like Sudha, ronit, Tapur and many more..none of them were brought back

exactly...that was the best and my favorite show..and Varun B's acting was just mindblowing! I still rememeber the scene of their wedding night where she gets to know that her husband is mentally chanlleged..oh gosh , she acted so well..her that acting can make these so called young actresses run for their money👏👏
