broken ribs and dancing? who is she kidding?

I did not watch the episode, but is it that she broke her ribs sometime before and that injury in hurting now or sth like that? 😕 😕 😕

I guess everyone wants to be safe after Prachi's unexpected elimination.

Dont know what else we will get to see in future rounds: so far, it is miracle recovery of internal injury and broken ribs...why cant ppl just believe in their talent? It is absoultely MY view that the both pairs are not playing it fair.

At least she didn't talk about it at the judges panel unlike some "other" contestants who made it SO OBVIOUS and tried to get some votes off it.

With broken ribs a person cannot even breath properly n u'r talking of dancing😕 😆 😆 😆

Here is what Docters say abt the broken ribs:😉

"The initial chest pain may subside, but over the next few hours or days pain increases with movement, interfering with sleep and activity and becoming severe with coughing or deep inspiration. The patient is often worried about having a broken rib, and may have a sensation of bony crepitus or abnormal rib movement."

n this is what the advice for such patients:

"Tell the patient to expect gradually decreasing discomfort for about two weeks, and forbid strenuous activity for approximately eight weeks."

now what do u have to say😉 😆

Did she ever say she had a broken rib?

She cud be faking it or she really cud've injured her ribs.
I think she did get injured.
I dont think tat shud matter, coz she danced well and got the points she deserved. Injured or not, the voting and scoring patterns shud be confined to the performance and nothing else. Everyone is in the same boat, it wud b unfair if v r favoring a person just becoz he/she is injured.

actually I do believe Sandhya. She must have sustained a torn rib. Whoever posted that part about rib fractures must also be aware of floating ribs & minor rib injuries, right? It is very possible to have a torn rib but without any obvious fracture. It must have hurt like crazy for her though. Such cases are typically managed by binding and heal in its own time provided precautions are taken not to exacerbate it. Sandhya's costume was designed so she could conceal the bandage well.

If you carefully look at her steps there were smartly & carefully choreographed to allow for only hand movements (which may have hurt a bit esp the ones where she was stretching her arms, but not contraindicated by injury). The lifts were mainly done by Javed and Sandhya did not move an inch and her arms postures were protective of her rib injury. There was no indication that she was faking her injury.

I just saw her dance and I felt the same as you. Her dance was carefully choreographed. I agree with everything you said. I dont know if she was faking but atleast whatever she did did not seem like a miracle.

If you all dont know ,
lemme tell ya all -

Sandhya mridul danced with a broken rib tonight but she did not announce it on air because she did not want sympathy votes and YET just before her performance tonight - the same day we have not one , but TWO articles telling us the same thing - that Sandhya danced in an injured condition..

There was no official article telling us about Nicole's injury except for the fact that Ronit told us when Agasthya was born .. the article came AFTER the performance , AFTER the voting lines were closed..

Food for thought ....
