Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa…Dancing with the Stars Only on Sony Entertainment Television
Diwali, the festival of lights is here. It is the time of the year when festivities give new meaning to the celebrations. This Diwali, on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa – Dancing with the Stars, the viewers will witness loads of excitement, exuberance and energetic performances.
The opening number by Sandhya Mridul will set the tone for the dazzling evening and also give a preview of what is in store on the show. Sandhya's spirited performance will sure get her full marks from the judges! She isn't the only one. Mir Ranjan Negi and Ronit Roy join the ranks too. But then there are more surprises in store.
In a complete break from the past performances, Sonali Kulkarni and the never-give-up Mika give their best performances to date, thus winning the judges over with their spirited dancing technique. Jay's unusual medley is sure to go a long way with the judges and viewers. Prachi gives yet another of her winning performances. Every passing week she just gets better and better and wins accolades for her dancing. The contestants not only got good points from the judges but also sparklers and gold coins as token of appreciation!
True to the spirit of Diwali the episode is interwoven with glittering lights, mouth-watering mithai, gifts and a studio full of celebrity guests, especially for the Diwali episode. Prachi will be in for a surprise when Ram Kapoor, her co-star walks in to wish her luck and even takes the floor with her! There are other well-wishers too! Sonali Kulkarni also has a surprise guest. It is Renuka Shahane who drops in to lend support to her friend. Said Urmila, "Had we known you were coming we would not have had lights on the set, your smile would have been enough!" But it was Mir Ranjan Negi who gets the maximum support. The hockey coach, captain of the hockey team Gaganajit Singh and Jograj Singh came in specially to watch their hockey mate dance.
All the celebrity friends too join in an impromptu dance! There are special gifts for the judges too.
