Mika Singh

Mika Singh is making oodles of money after his stint in Sony TV's Jhalak Dikhhla Ja2. From owning a Lexus to a Prado, the singer has now bought himself a Hummer. The luxury car costs a whooping Rs 1.5 crore. However, there is no stopping Mika who recently gifted himself a vanity van worth Rs 55 lakh. Reportedly, Mika's new acquisition, imported all the way from Dubai, is even more expensive than Abhishek Bachchan's vanity van. Mika, who was earlier charging a fee of Rs 4 lakh per show, now refuses to accept a show unless it is in the range of Rs 7.5 to 10 lakh. The number of shows he does per month has also gone up to about 15.

Says Mika, "I don't think that I have got more money and popularity after Jhalak… The Hummer has been my dream car since 1991 and now I finally I have it. As far as the vanity van is concerned, it was something I needed as I have to travel extensively."

The vanity van will be designed according to Mika's personal tastes by a friend from Delhi and will incorporate a lounge, a bedroom, a washroom, pantry besides a mini studio of sorts. He wants to have the freedom to record music on the go.

Mika is only performing for live shows at the moment and does not want to take up acting offers or playback singing. However, he has been roped in by Sunil Shetty to act in his film Loot. Mika says, "Yes I will be acting in Loot which will be my acting debut. I will be playing a foreigner in the film and I took up the offer only because of Sunil Shetty. I am not keen on acting."

He adds, "I only sing for my friends and their films. Earlier, I was offered a good role in Jo Boley So Nihal which I refused."

The singer plans to set up a personal mini-studio in Mumbai to record songs whenever he wants. Says Mika, "I want to avoid any delay in my work schedule. I want to have the flexibility to prepare a song in six hours flat, if the need arises."

The comments he made on JDJ2 last week regarding the fact that all the other contestants have just recently started working hard. Implying that he's been working hard for ten years while the others have done squat was so ridiculous. All the other contestants have worked just as hard or maybe even harder than him in their respective careers as well as for the show. It's not like he's an extremely gifted dancer that he is entitled to say such rude comments about his competitors. He is such a rude and arrogant man.

i know to imply that he is the only hardworking contestant is completely ridiculous all the contestants are hardwokring in their respective careers and all of them have gone through their fair sahre of struggle to get to where they are today

he is so arrogant n bigheaded n gets on my last nerve sum1 really needs to burst his bubble n hope he's voted out soon

i just really wish that'd JDJ wud adopt strictly come dancing new elimination style of having a dance off between the 2 couples with the least votes n the judges get to pick which pair stays in 😊 if it was lyk dat then mika wudv been out n da first week dat'd wouldve been so good 😃

Where is he earning all this $$ from? Who the heck are these people hiring Mika? I look at his face and am completely disgusted.🤢
Decent, hardworking people like Sudha chandran get the boot but this weirdo is raking in the moola. 🤢

Go figure!
