shaimak's hindi getting on my nerves.

Shaimak Davar as we all know runs a dancing school in mumbai and has been a mumbaiya for donkey's years now.....it is not only atrocious but shameful that the man is making a hue and cry about his hindi diction....what's with him...has he landed 2 days back from America that he could not learn our national language till now......what's your say on this?

Don't b too harsh on him dear 😳 ...I know by now he should hv learnt Hindi,considering the fact that he has been in Mumbai for quite a few years now 😊 ..but at least now he is trying seriously 😳 ...I think by the end of JDJ he will definitely learn the language 😊

I had heard him speak good Hindi when he came out with his album and also on the show his Hindi doesn't have any accent. He is been in Mumbai for long.

When someone stresses on something it just means that he is faking. After every sentence he just forces 'howz my Hindi', 'Like my Hindi','My Hindi..........this that'..

Are we watching a Hindi channel? I have never heard any American saying how is my English?

gals ,thanks for your replies....for a while i thought i was treading on danger grounds by harping on this aspect....i always had a soft corner for him ..those were the days ...he was quite hot..but now when he struggles and messes up with the lang i felt like writing on it. 😊

Dunnu abt anything else but by d end of d sow Shamaik will learn hindi. Ya but its a bit wierd he doesn't knw how 2 speak it after staying in Mumbai 4 yrs.

maya, i had made exactly the same post about his hindi becoz of this. i remember he was in news all the time for dil to pagal hai and his some kind of album was released back then, so i do remember that he spoke good hindi, so what happened to him all of a sudden? is JDJ an english show? i dont get it, when a person doesnt know hindi it becomes obvious but in his case, he is stressing on his hindi all the time? why?

I do not think it's only 4 years since he is in mumbai..'cos his dance academy is there for more than13 years....herez what i got from wikepedia.....

hey lets not make shiamak's hindi a big deal...there r many p'ple who have been living in India for years n yet they find speaking hindi difficult...so as long as the contestants n the audience understand what he says i dont think it should be any problem.

The reason is here they don't consider it a national pride for an Americans to speak English....😉...it's a given!!!

But In india, the Indians are very proud if we can speak our National language properly......😆

it took me like a year and a half to speak half of hindi.now that i know it i still cant speak it fluently. for me its a very complicated laungage compared to english, so it must be for him 2. maybe he can speak it but not fluently?? 😛
