Completely agree with what u have written here and I respect ur views but tell me one thing ,what is Mona's mistake in all this ,why is she been targetted .
You're absolutely right there. As I mentioned later in my post, I don't have anything against Mona...it's not her fault that her popularity as Jassi gained her a lot of support. My problem is with people like Pooja Bedi, the Sony people and the media who had a big hand in tilting the odds in Mona's favour.now wh n did sony tilt the odds in Mona;s favour?and whtss wrong i n pooja saying that mona is her fav?whn the respected judges who r not supposed to be biased said that who their fav is thn she is a mere contestent. They have no business interfering in the first place, but here the question raised is y did the channel not interfere u mean to say that they sld interfere only whn Shveta is accused and not for anyone else? and in any case the odds were already heavily in Mona's favour anyway (due her Jassi popularity), so there was absolutely no need for them to do what they did. Also, it is very low and rude to make personal attacks on someone's character in the media (ahem ahem Pooja Bedi). pardon me i dnt knw wht personalattacks did she made in public to shveta that she is seasonal dancer? it was just a thought she could not say it for sure.
That said, I think Mona could have done more to compete as Mona she has done exactly that through her dance her imaghe hepled her a bit not made her win entirely if she was not able to dance she would never win rather than as Jassi I don't think it was really needed for her to use her Jassi glasses in her performance (UP Bihar Lootne) and in the final episode and keep on saying 'Main aapki Jassi hoon' etc. Not that it's illegal or anything hehe đ But considering she was so desperate to shake off the Jassi image it was kind of strange to use it again for this. Moreover I really think she should move on from Jassi and create a new identity/image of herself.she has that very thing in her mind as she said it in her inteview and anyway we cnt run her career It'll be a pity if the audience only accepts her as Jassi and nothing else. I hear her next show is going to be an Indian version of Extreme Makeover. Sooner or later I think she should go beyond this 'ugly duckling turns swan' thing.i think she has already been beyond that by winning the show on her own ability she said that the jassi image helped her not made her win
