Don't think any of the fellow contestants who supported/campaigned for Mona did that because of her Jassi image… They did that for Mona Singh and not Jassi (whatever be their actual reason for so openly supporting her, we never know).

Her being the popular 'Jassi' character gave her a good start (like all actor kids get in films) - but it alone definitely wouldn't have taken her so far & made her the winner (i.e. Jassi image alone didn't do the magic)

JDJ was not a regular dance competition where the most talented has to necessarily win. It was a reality show with the winner being decided by public votes. Each and every person who votes may have a different reason to say why he/she voted or did not vote for a contestant !!

Being just popular without much talent won't take u far. And being talented but not (most) popular may not fetch u that final winning vote.

Mona was popular, talented, hardworking, enjoyed taking part in the show (and that showed - she was not there just to win a competition), took judge's criticisms in good spirit, had the desire to win & gave her very best for it. [She gave a positive vibe, good feeling to the audience]. That was a winning combination !!!!

[In any case the producers of the show want the most popular team to be in the run till the end - for them to make good money themselves. Why do we bother so much about who won and who didn't - life just goes on]

Well,Mona fans can say all that they want,but the fact doesnt change the the better dancer didnt win 😭

I, for one, never had any of those "but" excuses and I am sure that I am not the only one...

there are only a handful of mona fans here who do that so why make such a big deal out of it? I could easily point out some shveta fans who commented on mona's weight as a factor of why she shouldn't have won...hello biased much?

I second that....I know Mona improved in her dancing a lot..But the she is not a better dancer than Svetha..

If Jhalak Dikhlaja is for the best celebrity dancer technically ispeaking it shd be Svetha...No offense to Mona fans it is my opinion..

WHy do you take things to heart,It wasnt posted keeping you in mind..Look at the post that was above mine,it was in relation to THAT post.....and weight was discussed in context of dance...and its not a handful of mona fans,mostly 98% of them are coming up with excuses,and justifying as to why she should win..I mean,if they are fully confident of their decision,why come up with posts justifying,saying "dance alone doesnt matter"....

I disagree,the Best performer didnt win..The more popular one won!🤢

because I've been reading about a million posts from yesterday until now about how "jassi won" blah blah blah

98% huh? you have actual data to corroborate that?...yeah many people did but I know a lot of people have actual VALID reasons for picking her

and its not just dance...its the whole performance that matters and I was most touched by mona's performances so that is why I said the best performer won (I agreed time and again that shveta is the better dancer but I looked at the entire package when deciding who I like better)

the posts I've read didn't have to do anything with dance...they basically stated that mona was fat...nothing else and that definately came from a biased shveta fan

and yes,many people voted for Jassi,or the face behind Jassi,and not for Mona's dance....thus we say"Jassi won",....even newspapers say that

if by newspapers you mean mid-day, then I wouldn't agree with them b/c mid-day can't be trusted if you know what I mean

I think if mona danced really bad, I mean badder than the cook bad, then she wouldn't have made it that far...

btw, jassi is not everyone's favorite show.

i completely agree with u. 👏

the trouble with some is that instead of happily grazing, they not only vote for the wrong contestants, but also moo back in anger.. when reminded of that. Please ignore. and ofcourse i am not offending any ppl, cos i am commenting about people here.

mona deserved it and she got it. obviously shweta supporters are upset and will blame it on anything.
