Dandiya-mania grips ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’

With the onset of Navratri, the Jhalak Dikhlaaja (Sony) show will be coming up with their 'Daandiya-session special' episodes.

"It will also help clear out the wrong perception that its more of a western and Latin American dance," says Sandip Sikcand, creative chief of the channel.

"To connect with the current festive flavour, we will be showcasing a spectacular girl versus boy Garba-Dandiya Navratri competitive show of 90 minutes duration called 'Dhol Baaje' with a running romantic comedy track on September 30, which will have a galaxy of TV celebs, including those who have never been on Sony performing the Dandiya rounds with the ethnic glamour," discloses Sikcand .
