Theatre unwinds Mahesh! | ||
To be a part of a dance show can be quite taxing, especially when you have so many things on your plate. Mahesh Manjerakar dabbles with production, direction and acting with the same ease as he gyrates on the dance floor. And now this multi-facted has taken up theatre, which he admits, acts as a stress-buster from the gruelling dance sessions!
The play in question is Mahesh Dattani's (of the play Mad About Money fame) bi-lingual (Hinglish) play, tentatively titled Blood Money, which is expected to be staged in October. "Till date I have done only Marathi plays but Blood Money is very much different. All I can say is that it's a psychological play about two people. I rehearse for it in the mornings and then I am out for Jhalak.....'s dance rehearsals," smiles the down-to-earth director who have by now impressed both the judges and the audience with his dancing skills.
