Sushant or Shushant or pronounced similar except for a "ha" sound isn't it?

I think its a Maharashtrian thing. I cant think of other examples of the top of my head but many Maharashtrains tend to have a soft 'h' between S & U in words. I think it stems from the variety of S sounds in the Marathi alphabet.

Notice the extra 'Ss' in the marathi alphabet. Maharashtrians also write Sushant with the Sh after V than just S.
