DID VS JDJ - Page 2

I like this season of JDJ, I didn't like the 2nd and 3rd season!! Liked the first one a lot and liking this one! The judges and the contestants are much better this time! Last season, it was only Gauhar and Hardcore who were exceptionally good and Baichung who showed good improvement and had the best JDJ choreographer till date! (Sonia). This time many of the contestants can dance very well! There is Sushant, Yana, Ankita, Ragini, Chang! Even Krushna was good! Above all, Madhuri is amazing! The level of dance in DID is completely different and much higher and difficult. I loved DID1 and DID2 and DID Double seems promising thus its a 'Both' for me! :-)

both shows r completely different wid different format & concept...so its not fair to compare which one's "better"...but if ur asking which one i prefer more & more of my fav...i wud def. say DID...i always have this soft corner for DID lol =P

I think everyone has already said that it's impossible to compare these 2 shows and I think that's quite evident in the way that Season 1 and 2 DID contestants are no longer contestants but are now choreographing for 'celebs' on JDJ.

Well malaika could have never been a choreographer in DID. Nor can Madhuri.

Other than DAADAA all the judges in DID are choreographers so the quality is different.


In JDJ the aspects are probably how much an amateur/non dancer learns over a short period.

In DID it is solely about excellence.

JDJ has a fandom even before the show starts based on participants. DID's fans evolve with passing episodes :)


Both the shows are fun and are based on entirely different ideas.

I prefer DID because I dont have to deal with extreme fandoms even when bad performances occur

and u can't compare both shows. DID has contestants who are trained or are really good at dancing! JDJ has celebrities who do not have a dancing background. they are from a field outside of dancing (acting, boxing, singing etc.) so naturally, the performances are gonna be better in DID. the shows have a different format and entertain us in a different way. useless to compare.

Many actors/actresses do indeed have a dancing background like Shahid Kapoor and even TV actors like Gurmeet C have trained at SDDI and well we all know about Sushant.

But yes, most contestants don't know a lot about dance and haven't had formal training as such.

woah wait. sushant was trained in dancing? 😲 well that's unfair now, isn't it? no wonder the dude's been dancing really well. it's like bringing Binny Sharma in JDJ. she is an actor but she does have a dancing background. wow. anyone else who is trained that i dunno about?😆

SHampa apparently is Terrence's right hand choreographer or something..

SHe also has choreographed some of Jai Kumar Nair's dances in season 1 apart from several other acts.
