Apparently, someone who wanted to criticize Karan had to visit his blog to find a topic to criticize on. The whole point was that Karan's wife uses the blog to ask for votes. What is wrong in that???
The contestants on the show pubically ask or beg or whatever...they ask the viewers to vote for them. Karan's wife just asked his fans to vote for him. I am sure the other contestants have their ways to ask for votes...we just don't know of it. And she is not saying that Karan is the only hard working person..she never said he is the only one... she was just stating that he is hard working. Just because he is popular and has a big fan following, it is wise for a contestant to appeal for votes to his/her fan. And the point on how hiten and gauri use their blog to talk about the recession and stuff...well if one of them was on a reality show like JDJ..then I bet you they would have done the same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The question of using a blog to get to fans..well it's a way to connect with the fans. And even if it is.. Karan is on a reality show which has public voting. Look at all the Dance India Dance contestants. They all have facebook and ask for votes through facebook. What is the big deal.. if the other contestants could have or want to they could do the same thing. I am not even speaking as a fan but if I was on the show ,..I would use facebook or a blog to ask for votes too. It's a strategy because the show involves public voting. The contestants beg on TV to ask the viewers to vote for them...but just because Karan's wife wrote in the blog to vote for Karan.. it's a crime?
But I do love how people had to go the blog to find a topic to attack the poor guy. He is just a victim of being on a reality show. The judges are biased as it is. His dances are pretty good and just as good as baichung and even gauhar. Its just he is targeted and overlooked because everyone thinks he gets safe only because of the votes, therefore purposely look for flaws. Baichung and Karan seem to be working the hardest because they are not dancers at all but what they have acheived is worth looking at and they both play this game of being on a reality show really well. The concept of the show is public voting.. if they are so angry about karan getting alot of votes then why have public voting.. blame the creatives not karan!!!! Since it is public voting... a contestant has all the right to ask for votes any way they want to. In a competition...its a good strategy. If any other contestant had done this... would there have been such an uproar about it?????? Lately, a lot of contestants on reality show use the internet to appeal for votes ... good example is DID contestants!!! Are you guys going to blame them that they are begging for votes????
It's a reality show and the creatives just have a lot of twists and turn and apprently karan is a good puppet for them...just like that whole deal with parul and deepak and Guahar Khan and her controversies and all that stuff. If you do not like Karan ok fine.. but no need to bash him and the wife. Support who ever you want to but it is a show that has public voting. So obviously people will vote for their favorite. I agree Karan is not the best dancer and he admits it too.. but from where he started til now he has progressed a lot and that is worth praising for. And a lot of his acts are good they are just overlooked for reasons that are not even legit. Karan dances to his best ability. The arguement that Karan is not the only one with hectic schedule..I think BB and Karan have probaly the most hectic schedule because even in all the AVs..you hardly see Karan and BB..everyone else has all the time in the world to hang around the house. Yes...HK is a rapper and Guahar is a model..but these jobs do not require you to be busy everyday. On the other hand...BB is in sports so he has practice and games plus dance rehearsals and for Karan..he has DMG shoots and dance rehearsals. Besides all this the point is that there is no harm in using the blog to ask for fans for votes. The blog is created for the fans... so let the fans enjoy it!!!
