i agree that at this stage, it was a big let down...but i don't think the blame lies entirely with him...

and yeah, the episode wasn't enthralling enough as a whole...no brilliant performance that would draw out a whoop either...so well...let's see what next week brings with it...😊

yea , more often than not, when these 2 falter, the fault lies in the choreography... gauhar was bang on when she said among baichung and sonia, baichung is lucky..and among karan and nicole, nicole is lucky..had nicole got another partner, she might've been out before on 1 of the weaker performances.
however, today's performance left a doubt in my mind as to how far is it nicole's fault? its possible that karan, after his hectic schedule did not have enough time to prepare for 2 songs, so they cut down on his dance in this song..coz, when she could come up with such a brilliant concept and beautiful lifts, she sure could've added steps for him.. this particular incident, in isolation might not be her fault.

About Karan participating in jokes with Suresh Menon (I have yet to see the episode), remember he is a professional, and these jokes and all are part of the game. So as professional I would expect Karan to do good in whatever happens on stage. Remember he is from the television faternity, this is not new to him.

Hey Kaushik...! I understand what you're saying, and agree with it too...but when you watch the episode, you'll know precisely what i meant by my comment...i agree that Karan knows the works, and the fact that he has to handle proffessionally whatever happens on the show since he signed up for it...but at a moment like this, when you're looking at the last of the three components of your freshly laid out scoreboard, that might just spell your doom in the competition, standing next to a very upset friend who can't stop crying, with the host asking you how you're possibly going to carry on with scores like this, the last thing you need is for a slapstick gay joke hurled your way, with a typical exaggeratedly effeminate comedian jumping at you barely a few seconds after you've seen your scorecard...even that professionalism requires a certain degree of strength...he's a human being along with being a proffessional too, after all...

I personally thought the second performance was MINDBLOWING!!!! atleast karan showed improvement in whatever they did.....they shouldnt hve gotten 18..thats just lame....i expected atleast a 25 from the judges

there will be a dance off.. whoever comes in the dance of can choose the dance which they wanted to perform.. it is not judges choice..

The BoTTOm Line,

Gauhar and Karan should be in the dance off.

Gauhar just wasnt her usual self at yesterday's performance.
and Karan, well he wasnt dancing at all in the 2nd performance. 1st performance also nothing novel. It's weak choreography I guess.
