But it is right to be made clear that Baichung & Sonia didn't perform the contemporary act which few people are terming 'rape' act, just to get votes or for some cheap 15 seconds of fame.Sonia had gone through it two years back and this matter was reported in different newspapers then.It is not that she cooked up this story just before the act just to gather 'sympathy' votes for her 'rape' act.It is disgusting to term something like it as a 'rape act'.I hope few people who termed it as 'rape act' or something like it are realising what they are writing. It is a very painful experience for a woman to open her cruel past.
But Sonia did.She didn't go on crying immediately after the performance that it is her personal experience.Vaibhavi cried because it was very clear that Vaibhavi was very well aware that what happened with Sonia two years back (Choreographer's community...you see) and Sonia has that much guts to portray it.When host Shweta Tiwari asked Sonia for the inspiration, she simply said that she had been through all these, then god redeemed her and she is not at all ashamed of portraying what happened with her.
If anyone remembers, Sonia was not at all crying while saying all these after the act unlike some soap-queen or some complain-bag who shed so much tears as if their life itself is a tragedy.Sonia knew that it is her truth and she has overcame from it.So no point in crying after the spilled water from the bucket. Better fill the bucket again with fresh water.Thats what exactly Sonia is doing now.
Anyways, everyone knows who is Baichung Bhutia. Even my mother who is allergic to sports especially cricket & soccer.{{{ Thats why I sneak to my neighbour's house always to watch matches...lol...}}} Thats why I don't think Baichung really needs any sympathy votes because of his so-called 'rape act'.BTW, did you know, in that act, Baichung was not actually raping Sonia, he was just comforting her...So how that act is termed 'rape' act??? I think 'few' people have some problem with their eyesight.
But I guess that this topic's supporters in their recent posts under this topic,have touched the aching nerve of 'few' people somewhere who were firing earlier for sympathy votes, thats why an appeal for peace was made immediately so that the aching nerve should get some relaxation. But dont count me among those 'few' people please.
