The way Gauhar treated Hanif was definitely not nice on her part. Most people would consider it wrong, unethical and mean of her. However, that in no way makes her a completely mean spirited or horrible person that people make her out to be. Nor does she deserve the harsh criticism.
To put things in perspective, there are three factors that make her behavior seem more amplified than it should be. Women are expected to be congenial, soft and gentle. Women are judged to be abrasive faster than men are. Secondly be it entertainment or business, it is a male dominated world. Women have to work extra hard to succeed. They will lag behind if they are merely on par with ther male counterparts, they have to surpass them. This tends to make ambitious women overtly aggressive. They constantly feel the need to stay on top and be in command and fail to realize that they lose popularity. You will notice that many woman who reaches high positions often get criticism to be mean, ruthless, immoral and be a complete B**ch. Thats not saying the allegations are baseless, its a result of pushing themselves way to hard that they end up shoving people off the way.
The final straw was perhaps Ram Kapoor was ousted. He was way to nice and way to popular to go out to her. Had Ram Kapoor lost out to another contestant, people may not have been so upset. Finally if Gauhar had ousted someone else to the raction would have been milder.
I personally think Gauhar was very disrespectful in the way she treated Hanif. However, it does take to too Tango and while Hanif was a gentleman he was not entirely blameless. He treated Gauhar with kid gloves. Gauhar wanted to be pushed and try radical performances, while Hanif always took it easy - nor was he willing to acknowledge all her abilities. That made Gauhar feel short changed that her choreographer was not giving it all. Its poor communication on both parts.
However, now we will finally get to see Gauhar's mettle. One if she can genuinely put controversies behind and be a better person. Start treating people with more kindness and respect. Two if she can genuinely push herself as much as she claims. Can she truly wow audiences with her abilities.
If she passes the test, her hardwork deserved it. If she fails, it will be her wake up call to make some changes in life and attitude. I will reiterate again though, even if Gauhar does not prove herself - it is no reason to judge her as a terrible human being. She is human and flawed. People may rub the wrong way in one aspect of life and completely take you by surpise by how warm and wonderful they can be as a whole.
