Karan and Nicole
Last week they blew everyone's mind and garnered applause for their outstanding performance. This week they disappointed the judges with their performance on Baavre from Luck By Chance as their choreography was weak. Karan danced in a Rajasthani style whereas Nicole swirled with contemporary moves. While all the judges criticised their attempt, complaining about the concept, choreography and energy level, we appreciate Karan for his folk moves. They got 19 points from the judges.

Parul and Deepak
They both performed on the Rangeela theme. Parul danced freestyle and her choreographer Deepak performed classical. Deepak also called his dance guru onstage, from whom he learnt that particular form of dancing. They received good comments from the judges and impressed us too. But we felt that Parul's energy level was comparatively lower than usual. The judges gave them 29 points. An emotional moment also took place last night as Parul's mother came and they shared stories with the audience.

Hard Kaur and Savio
With every performance, this jodi has a surprise package and delivers something refreshing and new. And this time was no different.The duo chose the rocking Punjabi number Mundya Tu Bachke Rahi to dance to. Savio amazed everyone with his powerful bhangra and Hard rocked the dance floor like a star as she danced in a hip hop style. All three judges, especially Saroj Khan, were thoroughly impressed. They garnered 28 points.

Gauhar and Hanif
They performed on Maiya Maiya. Gauhar swirled like a damsel and Hanif too did a good job. Despite having a ligament injury, Hanif braved the pain as he stepped on to the dance floor. Everything went well with their performance except that it was too short. The judges said the same thing. Gauhar's every move was loved by the three deviyan and the way the entire act was composed was also praised. The judges gave them 23 points.
After the act, Hanif announced that he didn't want to continue with the show further due to his injury; he has been advised to take rest.

Ram and Marischa
Ram and his choreographer Marischa performed on a mix of two songs: Hum Kaale Hain Toh Kya Hua and Dhagala Lagli Kada. Ram, dressed like Mahmood, and Marischa, dressed in a nawari, tried to impress the judges with her marathi latke jhatke. Unfortunately, it didn't work for them and all three judges criticised their performance. Vaibhavi was very disappointed as she completely disliked the choreography. She said that there was too much acting and too little dancing involved. We have the same opinion but at the same time feel that Ram's priceless expressions could not be ignored. They got 16 points.

Monica and Javed
They performed on Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja and Monica was not only dressed like the veteran actress Helen, but also performed a cabraa like her too. Her choreographer Javed performed Bharatnatyam on the same. While the concept was well appreciated by the gurus, many steps were out of sync. We love Monica as she keeps improving with every performance. The judges gave them 22 points.

Shilpa and Nishant
This was one of the best acts on Jhalak last night. They chose Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo, where Nishant was played the babuji and Shilpa impressed with her flexible body movements. Nishant, who was dressed like Charlie Chaplin, looked very cute. Shilpa too was full of energy though it was her partner who demanded all the attention on yesterday's episode. He was praised by all the three judges for his amazing choreography and their jugalbandi. They got 27 points.

Bhaichung and Sonia
There is perhaps no other contestant who has improved his dancing skills as much as Bhaichung. Yesterday, he literally shocked everyone, leaving them speechless with his I Am A Disco Dancer performance. He went completely disco just like Mithunda and had all eyes on him. All the judges loved his dancing. Bhaichung and Sonia garnered 27 points.

Koena Mitra and Himanshu
Koena entered as a wild card entrant in Jhalak yesterday. The actress, who is well known for her sensual item performances, performed on a cocktail of Wo Sharabi from Musafir and Mehbooba with her choreographer Himanshu. The judges loved her performance and they praised her for her expressions and her dancing. Just after her first performance, she managed to score a perfect 30. However, we found that tadka was missing.
