Judges trying to compansate for popularity

Looking at the scores gven by judges I think they were trying to give more marks tonot so popular people. KSG, Parul & Ram got less marks compared to Ugesh, Anand Raj Anand, Mohinder Amarnath even though they were not so great.Baichung they can give excuse about not having enough time for practice not others. Didn't critisze Ugesh for not dancing but doing a magic show.

If you see even this forum its obvious voting will be by popularitynot performance..Otherwise we won't have multiple posts praising KSG even before his performance.

I am not justifying judges unfairness. But then audience alsois not fair when it comesto voting & votes the person they like. For example someone whho commented about KSG was asked to seehis performance in DMG.But then this competition is notfor his DMG performance but JDJ performance. Same goes with people who will vote for say baichung.I would have voted for Ram if Iwas in India just because I lie him as an actor & person.
But then thats why these are called reality show. The results are ususally unfair to talalented but not so popular contestants.

Sawani....yeah totally agree...the voting should be for the dancing talent...that way I think Gauhar and Hard Kaur are definitely excellent and should be in the top 3
As for KSG's DMG reference..... it was a response to the general statement that Karan is too popular and talked about so anyone other than Karan should win ( without regard to his dancing skills).
He is certainly at an advantage cuz of DMG. Those who visit the DMG forum are better aware of the hysteria surrounding Karan and DMG is his only identity. That does not necessarily mean that he is the best dancer and should win JDJ. This is an opportunity for him to learn dance. If he wins, he should for his dancing talent only.
But I do hope popularity does not become a disadvantage for people like Ram, Karan and Parul when they dance better than the soccer star Baichung and magician Ugesh.......and people decide they are too popular anyways so they will get the votes from elsewhere. Each vote counts....

I am so agree with you...

I was surprised after watching karan's dance,I know he cant dance but his hard work can not be ignored ..It was beyond the expectation...

Parul was too good,I was so upset that she got 20 marks yaar she dont deserve this..

Ugesh, He didnt dance he only showed his magic,Common its a dance show not magic show...

And bhaichung...He didnt dance he was looking so lazy...

Completely agree

Maybe a real dance competition would have worked if there was no public voting (Aovids popularity) and infinitely just and fair judges..

If only such a scenario cld happen..

After watching yesterday's jdj epi i felt really irritated. On friday's epi i felt that the judgement was kind of ok............ though i dont agree with the scores given to Anand Raj Anand (he definitely did not dance that well) and also Baichung Bhutia's Score(though i agree that he had very little time to practice and still managed to perform well enough but the performance was not so good that Saroj gave a 9 to him).

But what happened yesterday made me wonder on what basis the judgement was given 🤔. i mean there was Parul, Bhagyashree,Shilpa and Karan who danced waaayyyy better than Amarnath and Ugesh ( he just roamed about the whole stage showing magic by making his choreo change her clothes apparantly by magic......... while i kept on waiting to see his dance ).

Well i like Karan a lot so of course i am supporting him.......but as much as i am feeling sad about the fact that he got the the lowest score ( i feel he deserved a much better score then that), i am also feeling sad about the fact that other deserving contestants did not get their rightful score. When Saroj whistled for Shilpa i thought that may be she will give a good score to her (since she gives whistles to only those who really dances well)..........but i was shocked...........she gave her 6 (talk about good judgement🤢............she was atleast better than Ugesh).

According to me Karan should have got atleast 21 and Parul atleast 23 ( i believe in fair judgement you see).

After watching yesterday's epi i felt that one should participate in that show only if he/she does not even know how to move.........cause if you can dance even al ittle bit you wil not get good scores). I am missing Shamak Davar in this season ............. at least he gave honest judgements 😔

but then there would be no meaning for judges marks also na if they r not being fair enough
if they go on seeing different things in each contestant and give marks accordingly then their marks can demotivated the popular star
in the sense that 'whatever efforts they r putting in is not at alll appreciated and as it is they will get less marks'
its like if we dont give others will be there to give and the end no one will give
if any one of the low scorers get voted out due to less judges marks to a certain extent it will be unfair.
its not about karan ram or parul but in general
the judges should be fair (missing shaimak)

i sooooooooo agree and i am glad you pointed this out!!!
but as i said before i'm voting for KARAN anyway not just because i love him but because of the tremendous effort he's put in to come to this....i mean if you've seen him dancing before, you'll see the marked change.
anyways thanks for bringing this up...

My point is the voting & opinions should be based on performances on this show. Not based on looks, personality, acting or other skills shown elsewhere. Yes you should appreciate efforts. But then you don't know how much efforts others have put in as you haven't sen change in them in 5 weeks . Some never got to show it before. i think all of them are working hard.

i think its unfair how people are deciding winner, calling someone best dancer without judging its actual skills & then calling judges unfair.

Well then may be judges know this competition wiil be unfair because of the fans voting with bias & trying to correct it.i am not saying thats right. But then even public voting is not right. We have seen so many reality shows to know that.

In fact was surprised when a girl from community not known to be passsionate about regional voting, with no X factor , looks won Sa regamapa this year.
