It was all on popularity.A fan voting 3000 times does not equate to 3000 people voting for a contestant.

Not fair at all i have watched every single episode GC struggled in most hardly saw him give 101% and he wins????? Total setup Rashmi or Rithvik deserved it they both were 100 times better than GC...very upset :(

The channel producers and judges know this and yet still allow this kind of voting. The fans also follow this type of voting. So you see it's all fair in these kind of reality shows. Bharti was allowed to stay way past her time so it's fair that GC won according to the rules set by the Channel itself.

Not at all a fair judgement. Rithvik was among the best and he should have won it. But its a reality show and thats how its scripted i guess. the true contenders were - rithvik, rashmi, isha and darsheel.

Let's admit he has a fan following that other actors would die for.

And, GC's humble enough to accept that it's this very fan following that got him his trophy.

He did go on bended knees to thank them.

Maybe, the channel had scripted his win from the beginning but he didn't sit out the whole show did he? He danced, sometimes well and sometimes not so well.

If one takes everything into consideration, especially, that JDJ was never a show about good dancers but that of a non-dancer showing improvement thru his/her journey, then he deserves to win.

i agree that rashmi and rithvic are better dancers than gurmeet but popularity matters in JDJ after all 😳 and he was giving performances from the episode 1 of the show so his victory is fair for me

I think Gurmeet's victory is well deserved. He has experimented well and not stuck to his comfort zone. And he did get perfect 10 scores also - i think even more than rithvik and rashmi. Taking into consideration, that he was the only one also side by side shooting for his serial Punar Vivaah, i think he was doing a good job. (He is the main lead in PV). None of the others were shooting non-stop for serials. Ritwik is in Pavitra Rishta, but not the main lead.

Thanks for reminding me, that its a reality show.

From the beginning till now i din't know that it worked this way...

Let me make it loud n clear for you...am not talking about how the system works n how it should work, am just saying that GC won cos of the Fan following and not cos he Dances well...

Anyways am happy for GC that he won, but seriously he din't deserve...and its my POV...hope you don't have any prob with that...!!
