Gururockss:
Who said there was anything wrong with what he said - he is a very nice guy and admitted it himself. He always gives his best and whether he performed well or not or is the best or not is subjective. You should definitely be proud of him but stating the facts does not make me any less proud of him.
I am a fan of his for his acting but I am definitely not a blind fan - I call a spade a spade. Actually, I only heard about Jhalak through the show, Punar Vivaah and that is the first time I came to know about Gurmeet - hadn't heard about him before that and started watching Jhalak because of him. In my opinion, he is a very talented and fabulous actor but not the best dancer.

Gurmeet Choudhary who has shown excellence throughout with his different takes to dancing! He has improved dramatically and has shown that he contains true talent!
For me, a fair win would have to be Gurmeet taking the crown! Not only because im his fan, but also because I truly believe that he has shown exceptional talent and also has shown diversity in his dancing!

Isha was my fav and so I am not that excited now. I am not even going to watch the finals. But I will be more than satisfied if Rithvik lifts the trophy..

Gururockss: He is not the best dancer not only according to me but according to many and it's not my opinion that matters in this show but rather the judges and you heard their comments in the semi-finals. I am not denying anything - please don't put words in my mouth - everyone who walks off the Jhalak stage is better than when they first stepped on the stage and should be good by that time otherwise all the long hours and their hard work was in vain.

^^^ I would say GC is a good student, he follows what is taught to him and tries his best to execute it. But I highly doubt that would make someone a good dancer. He might have improved here and there, but I still don't see that good dancer quality especially after seeing his last couple of acts, reminded me how he was in the beginning, so not so sure about him being a good dancer. A good dancer will be quite consistent unlike GC whose graph has so many ups and downs depending on Shampa's choreography. So for me, he still isn't there yet. But he doesn't matter, he is an actor and he does that well enough.

Chandramukhi: Exactly my point. It was rather shocking to hear Remo say to Gurmeet in the semi-finals that his group dance was the first time he had seen full on dancing from him. Even Karan Johar and Remo used words like "stunt" and "gimmick" for his solo dance but he has had to do performance dances i.e. using props etc. to camouflage his lack of proper footwork etc. for the most part.
In my opinion, Gurmeet's dancing up to the semi-finals kind of regressed rather than progressed from when he first started on Jhalak - could be because of burn out/tiredness since he is here, there and everywhere.

I don't know if I can say regressed from where he started. For me, he is more or less at the same spot. Yes I can say he regressed from his perfect 30s performance, but I heard he is getting full 30 again. That's the point I am making, he isn't consistent cuz the perfect 30 depends quite some on Shampa. When she hides his weakness and comes up with new concept, he gets that 30 and usually either it is the concept, his expressions or her dancing which fetches those 30s. Only performances which caught my eye were his robotic act, again stiffness was used as strength and bura bhala, same again. So for me, he isn't a good dancer even now, yes he works hard and is a good student, but not a good dancer. And I guess fatigue might play a role as well since he shoots for 12 hrs and then the rehearsals. Personally I don't know how he or Rithvik does it, working without proper sleep. It is applaud worthy.

Chandramukhi: I agree with what you have written. Some fans don't seem to understand that he did not get 30's because of his great dancing abilities but more for the reasons you have stated.
It's such a pleasure to be fans and to be able to have a healthy discussion as we seem to have with no disrespect towards each other and I thank you for that.
