gurmeet was stiff... and he got the marks that he deserved for his performance... did i say i had a problem with that? if u have a problem with the guy say it out loud... don't try these tactics...
the judges were biased towards sanath, sushil and a few others and that is a fact whatever be their reasons... as jyoti said if sanath can get 9 from each, then isha should have got 10 from each... otherwise at the end of the day, it looks stupid...

not only sanath, several others didn't deserve da marks they got last night. i was highly disappointed with remo more than anybody else. surprisingly kjo's comments were better at times compared to remo

i reckon remo and da rest of da judges want to encourage everybody in da first epi but i sincerely hope remo gets back to his normal self in future

No it's not.

Most of these people have danced before in their lives. Jaysurya has not they appreciated his spirit that a NON dancer stepping out of his comfort zone is performing.

GC, Gia, Pratusha, Isha etc... have danced in award shows etc...

As Remo said they judged based on where they are from aka profession and how they are related to dance. Obviously this was his first performance and hence the high marks going on in the show if he survives then obviously they will be harder on him.

Honestly i was surprised with the marks given to Sanath.. But Remo did explain y those marks were given.. And i completely agree.. For someone like Sanath, accepting the show and doing it is a great thing.. And if u look at him, he was very much scared as he doesn't know dance and doesn't know hindi too.. He was very much like a stranger there and i'm sure that the judges wanted to give him some confidence and hence the numbers and infact he did very well.. Must appreciate his choreographer. She did a splendid job with him..
Come on guys, Just imagine giving him 6 n 7 ...Will it boose his confidence?? We must encourage him rather than degrading his performance. I think surely the marks would have been a boost to him and hope he'll improve in the coming days and i'm sure the judges will become strict in the coming days.
I'm not a fan of anyone.. I just watch JDJ for Madhuri, Remo and Salman... I liked the episode.. I don't think judges were biased. I've seen GC's and Gia's performance in stage shows before. They were not upto the mark yest.. I was surprised to see GC perform like that. I've seen Shampa and Sushant and i felt GC is lucky to get Shampa and i'm sure he is lucky.. Shampa will come back with a bang. Nishant was with Ankita last time and gave some good performances and i'm sure Gia and nishant too will improve.. I was disappointed with Darsheel too. He coming from Shamak's school, expected him to perform better.
I see the judges judging the contestants from the background they came from. Isha and Darsheel are trained dancers and no mistake is expected from them and hence isha didn't get 10 inspite of the splendid performance. And ppl like sanath, bharti, jayati all did very well , rather i was shocked to see them perform like that n hence the good marks..
I would say lets wait and watch and not come to conclusion by just seeing the 1st episode. And according to me Isha and Salman were the best yesterday. They rocked it..

Totally agree with Mars, cmon guys its just the first epi and we already r hitting the judges for everything, they hv judged yest's epi purely frm the bkgd the artists hv come from, its not easy for a person like Sanath to come on the dancing floor and move his legs. Dont be unfair to anyone, its just a beginning

even if i agree to the fact that the judges r considering background of the participants before judging...then too i must say scores matter at the end of the day...supposing someone hasnt watched the show but has read the update...wat will that person think...isha getting 27 and sanath-bharti getting 27...so wat will be the verdict...that these 3 participants danced at equal level...isnt that ridiculous...if hving dancing background is reason for low marks and hving non-dancing background is reason for high marks...then i dunno y they dance at all...

just come one by one on stage and show ur dancing CVs and then get marks accordingly...in that case talat or sanath shud be the winner of JDJ5...
and isha or darsheel shud get eliminated in the first round itself...

this is a dancing competition at the end of the day...so one who performs better shud get the highest marks...period

and even if the judges want to boost the performers and gv marks according to their improvement and effort...then i guess they shud set a standard like say 7 or 8 shud be the highest marks for improvement even if performance is not at par...then there will be scope to gv more marks to dancers who actually perform well...

in short it is ABSOLUTELY UNFAIR to gv equal scores to isha and sanath...and ppl here r constantly talking about judges gving scores based on improvement...this was the first episode and first performance...so how come the term "improvement" fits here ...improvement over what...
