Renuka Shahane in Jeete Hain...

Renuka Shahane got her first day off after a month. Needless to say, the actress spent the much-awaited holiday with her family. Renuka said, "When I was informed that I would be getting a day off this Sunday, I was thrilled and started planning my day's schedule. I did not want it to go waste like any other day."

Renuka's sons Shauryamaan and Satyendra were very happy to get their mother by their side after a long time. Renuka says, "Shauryamaan and Satyendra would not let me go out of their sights. They were just too happy to be with me. So, in the evening, we went out for a lovely dinner with my husband (Ashutosh Rana) and children."

Interestingly, Renuka was supposed to get her weekly offs every Thursday. But, for the last one month, the actress did not get a single day's leave and had been working relentlessly for her show. But Renuka had no complaints against her producers Tony and Deeya Singh. She says, "I don't want to blame my producers because I know the amount of pressure under which we all are working. Ever since I have joined Jeete Hain Jiske Liye, I have realised that there is a huge pressure on the cast and the crew to meet the deadlines. As the channel decided to air the promos highlighting Pooja Ghai aka Avni's murder in the serial; we had to work overtime to complete the scenes."

So, is there any chance that she will get her compensatory leaves? "Sadly, these rules are never implemented. But thankfully, my producers have promised me to give a weekly off henceforth," she added.
