Suddenly her mouth was clasped. She tried to yelp but failed.
She found herself being pulled behind the boxes and ramming into something rock solid. Looking up, her eyes met his and she relaxed.
He removed his hand and whispered slowly in response to her inquisitive eyes.
" chori, I understand you good enough to know that you were planning to trap me and embarass me again ".
Her eyes widened.
' Gyi Devi paani mein' she thought ruefully.
" Chori kathe gyi maaji SA!" Urmi stated horrified.
Masa huffed in response and shouted, " search the store well, or that chori will appear out of nowhere again and lie that she was here only".
Adhi and Devi were hiding behind a stack of boxes when Adhi suddenly jumped and bit back a yelp.
Devi turned around horrified and widened her eyes at him.
His pale face dictated all as she saw chotu adhiraj near his legs.
" Urmi, I heard some voice from there. Check it!" Masa ordered.
Adhi's face lost its palor but Devi was cool. If they were caught in the situation now, it will be a far worse blunder than earlier.
She chuckled inwardly.
Her joy was interrupted when she was pulled again.
Noticing her surroundings, she found herself in a box huddled closely to him.
It was a bit suffocating and she moved a bit. He turned to glare at her but paused on finding her face close.
The box was small. Too small.
They were too close for His comfort.
He sighed.
It was getting real hot. Devi realised staring into his hazel brown eyes.
Their position was compromising. In his hurry to fit in, he had taken Devi in his arms. They were in a hugging position with her face resting over his shoulder and hands around his waist. His face loomed a bit over her shoulders and his fisted hands nearly refrained from caressing her waist.
The air crackled. Their hot breaths mingled as they stared at each other.
It was literally hot. Their bodies got wet with sweat and the environment became even more sensual.
Masa and urmi had resigned long ago and had left but the two in the box didn't care.
Sweat stinks. Usually.
But Adhiraj was totally getting worked up by the weird arousing scent in air.
He felt like hugging her.
' Oh God' he prayed internally.
His prayers were heard.
Suddenly air entered the box and his neck found enough space to straighten up.
' Strange! Did the size of box increase suddenly'.
He looked up perplexed and was left open mouthed.
Urmi stood right above their heads with shock painted all over her face.
" Devar sa the ke kar rahe ho?" She questioned.
He decided to stand first but failed.
Right. He and Devi were tangled with each other.
" chori ", he hissed.
" What?" Devi snapped out of her trance and looked up to find Urmi.
He motioned with his head to get up.
She nodded in understanding and they both stood together.
Devi's legs wobbled a bit and she was about to fall when he balanced her.
Eyes met again and Urmi was long forgotten.
Something weird was happening. Devi found herself getting lost in his eyes over and over.
What is happening!! He is unable to tear his gaze away from her big eyes.
Urmi cleared her voice and they both straightened away from each other.
" Not a word about this to masa", Adhi ordered Urmi.
" Main toh na bolungi devar Sa par ye chori.." Urmi was interrupted by Adhi.
" Just focus on what I told you".
Urmi nodded meekly but kept standing.
" What are you waiting for? Leave!" Adhi shouted annoyed and thus Urmi hurried out.
He slightly massaged his head as Devi continued staring at him.
Suddenly he looked up, horror written all over and before Devi could register anything else, she found herself engulfed deep in the sanctuary of his warmth.
'He is warm'
She thought over and over as her body went limp in his embrace.
Eyes wide open because she was experiencing bolts of something new.
Adhiraj had his arms wrapped around her waist and head protectively, his face buried in her neck.
" Devrani Bai SA".
As kesar's voice reached her ears, Devi snapped into reality with a jerk and so did Adhi and moved away from her, and left before something else could happen.
Devi tried to gather her nerves. It was a mess. Her heart was racing.
What was Adhi doing?
" Devrani baisa aap theek hai", Kesar asked rushing in.
" Ha...jethani SA...I...I...amfine. What will happen to me?" Devi replied, still a bit haggard.
" Thank God. I was startled when I heard a deafening voice"
" Voice?" Devi asked inquisitively.
" Ha, that's why I rushed here, seemed like sound of boxes falling".
Devi stood rooted to the spot before sharply turning around, to find all the steel boxes and the utensils in them scattered on the floor.

'Adhiraj was saving her or else her head would have been flattened real good'
' Thank God, it wasn't any sign of affection; just his usual helping-but-not-telling self' Devi sighed in relief.

" I didn't hear the sounds at all!" Devi shrieked scaring the wits out of Kesar.
"Kya hua?" Kesar asked.
Devi was in a shock. She failed to notice that sound because she was way more shocked to be in His arms.
"Oh My God", Devi whispered and slipped onto the floor.
" It can't be".
Adhi was doing push-ups in the room reminiscing their close encounters.
Focus
Focus
And Adhi stood up annoyed.
He was a mess. His heart was threatening to jump out of the rib cage for some reason! And he had no idea!
However he vividly remembered the lump that formed in his throat when those trunks were going to fall on her.
They were real heavy.
If they would have fallen on her, she...
And his chest gave a painful squeeze.
What the hell?
Why was it aching at the mere thought of imagining Her hurt?
