its a case of beauty and the beast, adhiraj to me just seems quite taken back, rattled and attracted to her at the same time, all the women in his family are quite scared of him, so to meet someone as defiant as devi makes a man even with so much self-control like adhiraj lose control...

Am enjoying how it is currently playing out at the moment, I hope the CV's dont change the angle they are going with this.

That was a good scene. Executed really well. Plus he looks good in plain white o.O they should try dressing him more in those kinda shirts.

Hmmm... That scene had me thinking too. Specially when he said these childish games are over and we will play more adults game. (How eeks does that sound).

But no, I don't believe it will take place simply because of his strong reaction to being called a rapist. I think maybe he would at one point try and get physical but will stop when she echoes the same words back at him.

I writers are have/ tried to established certain things right from the start and I think this is one of them.

Summer, while i would love to believe that he will not try anything nasty physically, the problem is people do not get marital rape as a crime coz after marriage it's sanctioned.

While adhiraj might have backed of earlier on being branded a rapist, post marriage, the lines get blurred. Infact, legally too martial rape is not acknowledged to be a crime. Maybe the makers wanna draw attention to its gravity with this Show?

And no, am in no way suggesting that it should be happen etc but just stating the facts here.

I see where your coming from. The fact that martial rape is not a crime is news to me. Unfortunately it does not shock me simply because I have read and seen just how hollow the judicial system is when it comes to rape.

If the makers want to create awareness on this suject then more power to them. Ekta Kapoor did the same a few years back.

Will Adhi rape her. No. I believe the writers can still rise this issue without showing rape. Just as they had shown the scene where Devi called Adhi a rapist. That scene was handled very well.

Will Adhi try something? Yes. Will he succeeded. I hope not.

I agree with you that makers can still talk about it without showing the incident. And as I had mentioned in another post, tellyland trends too do not allow consummation in any form so early in the show plus that somehow makes even an anti hero male lead irredeemable

A child should not be a bride to begin with. It's disgusting and vile. How can anyone have faith in the system. How can anyone allow this to still continue in today world.

Woman are treated like anything but humans.

The saddest thing is, people will rise their voices, protest, create media awareness and coverage. But after a week or two everything goes back to begin the same. Its like no matter how hard you try no change ever happens.

Exactly the judiciary system is hollow when it comes to handling sexual abuses and rape cases.
As far as the show is concerned it don't think adhiraj meant about marital rape. It was purely about torturing her by him nd his mom.
The laptop scene was done wid so much intensity it gave me chills...

True that!! We should not get carried away with 'our small' world which is not truly representative of the reality. Millions of women suffer these atrocities day in and day out.

While change is happening, its happening at a glacial pace. And to say the least, mass media doesnt help with its typical abla naari content.

Which is one reason am watching this show - as Devi is strong. I want Devi to give it back left right and centre, not only to Adhiraj but to his maasa as well! If she turns doormat at any point in the show, am out! 🥱
