Usually, I like to give an introduction to the update of the episode. But, today, I don't want to say a word about the episode.

Hold on, have patience, read this crappy update till the end...for the sweeet fruit of patience: I can vouch that the two lines of tomorrow's preview is going to make you smile. 😊
HOSPITAL
The red bulb on the ambulance flashes furiously & an injured Jassi is taken to the hospital and then in for an operation.
A shocked Armaan (shocked is an understatement) paces nervously in the corridor. Billu, looking older than he is, sits on the bench, troubled & tired.
Armaan finally rests his anxious body against the wall. Nandu comes up to him, looking like a scared kid. He tells Armaan that the operation has started & there will be another 2 hours before they can say anything. Armaan looks at him, miserable.
OUTSIDE THE COURT
Well, our cuddly tuddly judge is speaking to the reporters. ( I'm glad he's out of that stuffy court and in the open air, but he looks grumpier than ever 😒 ). He tells a reporter that the court will never tolerate that such a happening has taken place in its premises. He says that they will see to it that the one who had fired the bullet is brought before the court within 24 hrs and that he is sentenced to the strictest punishment. The reporter asks him if he trusts the police to accomplish this task. The judge tells her that hence has assigned this task to the top detective agency in the country, the CID bureau.
CID OFFICE
The chief CID, (Shivaji Satam) is talking on the phone (with maybe the judge or the police) and assuring them that within 24 hrs, the criminal will be before them. He says that he agrees it is an important case and hence he has deputed his best officers.
We see our CID team loading their guns with bullets (in the CID office) and setting off confidently, towards their new mission: Who shot Jassi?
PURAB'S APARTMENT
We see Purab, in his red pullover, a small white bandage on his forehead, sitting on his couch & switching on the TV. (Thankfully, this scene was shot, and not 'joined' by using only the face. 😛 ) A reporter is announcing that the court had just released Jassi, however, some one could not bear her good luck and tried to shoot her.
Purab looks flabbergasted. "Jassi!!" is all he can exclaim.
HOSPITAL
A hyper-tensed Armaan asks Nandu, "Nandu, will Jassi be ok? Nothing will happen to her, na? God would never think of doing this to her...hai na?? (He looked so DAMN innocent when he was asking his "hai na?")...."Nandu..why don't you say something?? Pray, talk to me...say something!" the tears start flowing down his cheeks.... 😭 as Nandu looksa t him helplessly. "Please say something Nandu..at least say once that God will never let anything happen to her....because...if something happens to her...."he chokes on the words..."I'll die!"...he sobs inconsolably. 😭
"Don't say you'll die, Armaan!" Nandu exclaims, shocked. " Your and Jassi's breaths are connected with each other....how can you stay away from each other then?" he looks at Armaan, his own eyes glistening.
Armaan stares at him through his tears, his big brown eyes full of gratitude..and then he falls into Nandu's arms....hugging him tightly.
(This was suuuch a chweet scene....who can say that 2 months back, this very keyboard of mine was typing.."And Armaan starts beating Nandu black and blue...." Surely...time changes relations....and hearts.)
OUTSIDE THE COURT
The CID team is investigating the place where the gun was shot. One of them finds the bullet and puts it into a plastic bag. The Senior Inspector (Mr. Dayal) asks him how far was the bullet lying. The officer says that about 20 m away. He says that it was lying on an upward slope, where it is easy to aim the gun. Manav Govil (Sorry, I don't know hsi name in the serial) provides that just 10 minutes before the shot was fired, an ambulance arrived on the scene for Ms. Mallika Seth who has apparently fainted. The SI asks if anything unusual had happened. The officer denies. The SI then confirms if Mallika was the same woman who had alleged Jassi of false crimes. He then says that they must go and speak to Jassi's family to try and get some information.
HOSPITAL
Apparently, Mallika is also admitted in the same hospital. Aryan lovingly caresses his sister's hair and holds her hand, when...to his immense surprise....his dear, dear, "unconscious" sister 🤢 , holds his hand back. Aryan's eyes widen like saucers. Mallika winks at him. The nurse leaves the room. All Aryan can say is, "Mallika, you are absolutely impossible!!" 😲
Billu is walking, looking deathly pale. Armaan notices him. "Uncle...!". Billu just waves his hand, indicating that he does not need help. He sits down on a bench and closes his eyes, looking terribly fatigued. Armaan's tears start again. 😭 (Apparently, Jassi walked out of Gulmohur , but she forgot her tears there..which were loyally picked up by dear Armu, who sheds them regularly.) He tells Billu that the operation has begun. He assures him that everything will be fine & Jassi will be ok. Billu mutters that he's waiting for someone to come and tell him this soon, or else, along with Jassi's there will be 3 more dead bodies: his, Amrit's and Bebe's. Armaan looks petrified to hear this and quickly asks him not to say such things. He says that nothing will happen to their Jassi and Babaji will take care of her. He asks Billu where Bebe is. Billu just waves his hand in the air, his words failing hi. He manages to tell Armaan that he sent her home with Amrit, as she would not be able to see all this. Armaan looks a picture of agony.
The CID team then arrives in the hospital. SI Dayal introduces himself to Billu & Armaan. He apologises for disturbing then at such a delicate moment. Manav says that they want to ask them some questions, the answers of which may help them to find Jassi's criminal. He asks Billu if he suspects anyone. Billu shakes his head sadly. He says that Jassi was such a simple girl, who always thought well of everyone. He says that he doesn't suspect anyone. The SI then asks Armaan the same question. He too replies in the negative. He says that there was no one as decent and good hearted as Jassi, why will anyone want to kill her? He looks in the distance, sadly. Manav says that they are investigating on Mallika Seth, who had accused Jassi. He asks them to let them know if they suspect anyone. He says that the few hours before the investigation are very important. He asks them if Jassi had got letters or phone calls from anyone.
Nandu provides that there was some unknown person who used to write letters to Jassi repeatedly. He says that they never opened those letters, as they did not find it necessary. He further tells that the letters are at Jassi's house, not the old one but at the apartment, which was provided to her by Purab Mehra. The letters were addressed for Jessica Bedi. The SI repeats Purab's name thoughtfully. "Purab Mehra." 😳
Meanwhile, Purab (in his classic black suit and blue shirt) arrives hurriedly to the hospital. The guard stops him & asks him whom he wants to meet. "Jass..I mean Jasmeet Walia" he says impatiently. The guard asks him if he's a relative. Purab stammers that no, he's a friend. The guard denies permission saying that only her near relatives are allowed to be with her. Purab starts arguing with him. He shouts hysterically but the guard refuses to let him in. Purab is fuming 😡 and just shakes his hand angrily and helplessly.
In Mallika's room, the doctor checks her pulse. Aryan makes a 'worried' face. After the doctor & nurse leave, he pulls the curtains quickly and turns to his sister.
He asks her what was the need for this drama? She tells him that if she hadn't done this, they would have to spend the rest of their lives in jail. She says that no one can suspect them here. Aryan looks mad at his foolish sister and says that all will be definitely suspecting them now. Mallika looks puzzled and asks him why. Aryan asks her why she didn't tell him about "it." Mallika says that she hadn't planned "it" before, she saw the police approaching them and "decided to faint" on the moment. Aryan shakes his head and says that he is not talking of this, it's such a silly thing. He says that because of her foolishness, everyone might be surely suspecting them of shooting Jassi. Mallika looks absolutely confused and asks what shooting, what Jassi he is talking about. Aryan turns to her in surprise and asks her if she didn't shoot Jassi then. Mallika looks more puzzled 😕 and asks what he is talking about. Aryan tells her the happenings & says that he was thinking that Mallika was behind it all. He mentions that the police too might be thinking the same now. Mallika looks irritated and asks him if he thinks she's so stupid to plan such a dangerous thing, when she knows the police have their eyes on them. She then says that this means that other than the two of them, there is a third person that is Jassi's enemy. Mallika looks deep in thought.
Purab is talking to someone on the pone, looking wild. 😡 He is shouting that at any cost he wants to meet Jassi and urges the person on the line to do something to allow him inside. He hangs up and then starts talking crazily to himself. "How many times had I told you NOT to go to Gulmohur,...Now see....see the result ....the result of going back to Gulmohur and to Armaan!!" He sits down on a chair, still looking mad. "I wanted to take you somewhere far away, but you did not listen to me. You always placed Armaan before me!. I was telling you not to come back from Mauritius...to go to Paris...if you had, this day would never have arisen! This day would never have arisen!"
Purab looks like a neurotic.
JASSI'S APARTMENT: THE ONE LENT TO HER BY PURAB
The CID team is thoroughly searching the house, all the cupboards, behind the sofas; under the bed covers...one of them actually checked the pickle jar and another turned the teacups upside down! 😆 Finally Manav gets hold of the letters, presumably in the drawers. They then go back to their office.
CID OFFICE
They are talking on the phone with the chief CID. (Shivaji Sawant, I'm sorry I don't know his name in the serial). He asks them if they found any clues. They tell him that they got hold of 4 envelopes, without any stamps or addresses. One of them asks their sir about Mallika and Aryan. The CID says that they are definitely prime suspects but he himself doesn't think they are involved. He asks them to read the letters. They open one which just says, "I love you Jessica Bedi." Another one also reads the same. The CID asks them if anything else is written. The 3rd letter does contain some more. It says:" If you cannot become mine, I will not let you become anyone else's."The CID claps his hand and says that this is it. It looks like it is written by some rejected aashik. Jessica never read these letters, and this very fan must have shot her. The CID mentions that if he is some ardent fan of her's, he must have come regularly to court. He asks his men to see the videos of the court proceedings carefully to check if anyone, who was not supposed to be present, was attending the court.
HOSPITAL
Purab spots Aryan and enquires a nurse as to who is admitted in that room. On learning that it's Mallika, he goes to her room, where she has just settled down to sleep. She gets up to see Purab. Purab asks her sternly how many more lies she wants to speak. Mallika looks surprised to see him. Purab asks her to speak the truth now. Mallika asks him back what did he get eventually. Purab asks her how can she talk like this after such a big defeat. Mallika smiles and says that time will decide if it's her victory or defeat, when her Armaan will come back to her. Purab tells her that right now, Armaan is far away from her, but the CID is too close. Mallika tells him in her artificially sympathetic tone that whatever happens today, one thing is fixed that it's going to be his defeat. Purab knits his brows. Mallika continues that if Jassi dies, there is no question. But if she lives, she'll always be Armaan's. She asks Purab what does he prefer, Jassi going to Armaan forever and ever? She says that in that case, it's better that Jassi dies.
Purab looks at Mallika coldly. "You watch it" he tells her.
Nandu & Armaan (bestest buddies by now) are standing together. The CID team comes and asks to speak to Armaan. They move to the side. SI Dayal shows Armaan the letters and asks him if he has any idea who wrote those. They say that one of the letters also contains a threat. Armaan looks puzzled. 😕 Nandu says that he had seen someone drop those letters in Jassi's letterbox. He says that he thought it's fan mail. The CID asks him if he will be able to describe the man to the computer artist. Nandu says that he doesn't remember clearly but he thought the man looked pretty ordinary. He says that he thinks he might recognise him if he sees him again. SI then turns to Armaan and asks him what he thinks of Purab Mehra. Armaan's face stiffens. 😳 Nandu says that he is Jassi's friend. "Only friend? Nothing more?" the SI asks. Nandu looks slightly irritated and says that he is just a friend. Armaan however, intervenes and provides that Jassi was supposed to get engaged to him, but the engagement broke off.
Armaan is praying in the temple in the hospital. He fold his hands and tells Babaji, that once before this, he had come to him to ask for forgiveness. Now, he has come again to ask for his life. He say that after showing the right direction to his life, Babaji cannot take away his life itself. Armaan starts crying again. 😭 He asks Babaji not to punish love, innocence and simplicity. He pleads that he will always keep Jassi happy. He tells God that if he fails to do so, he can punish him most severely, but pleads that God save Jassi. Armaan folds his hands and bends down his head, sobbing like a child.. He again begs that God save his Jassi.
Armaan's prayers are answered. A nurse comes and tells Billu that the operation is over and that his daughter is fine. Billu looks delighted and immensely relieved. He finds it difficult to speak and touches the nurse's cheeks with gratitude. 😊
Armaan is sitting on a bench pensively. Nandu comes running. Armaan stands up. Nandu looks at him happily, the words choking in his throat with emotion. He manages to stammer that their Jassi is fine and runs to meet her.
Armaan just looks at Nandu's running figure....his words sounding to him like magic. Tears well up into his eyes...refusing to trickle for once...he folds his hands and looks up, with infinite gratitude, and thanks Babaji.
CID OFFICE
The chief CID asks his team the reason for Purab and Jassi's broken engagement. One of them says that Purab just disappeared suddenly before the engagement. The chief mentions that it sounds interesting. The officer continues that hence Jassi's family never managed to forgive him, especially sine he had gotten so close to all of them before he disappeared. He says that he fails to understand why a business tycoon like Purab initially agreed to marry an ordinary girl like Jassi. He continues that Purab re entered Jassi's life in Mauritius, this time more like a friend and helped her transform into a successful model. the officer wonders why Purab could (if he had) do such a thing then? The chief asserts that this is the very reason: After doing so much for Jassi, Purab might no have been able to take the fact that she is going to some one else.
The CID team then proceeds to Purab's house. Purab opens the door and looks surprised to see them there.
That's all with the episode.

TOMORROW: Armaan (wearing his fanta orange shirt) and Jassi are staring lovingly in each other's eyes. A romantic song "Tham ja zindagi...." plays in the background. They gaze into each other's eyes for a long time...and then our lover boy breaks into his endearing dimply smile, and gently takes his Jassi's hands in his....they still continue gazing...the song plays on....the light focusses on the two lovers....who, lost from the world...continue to drown into each other's eyes..........
