Come Rakhi, and the television industry's Bhai-Behen's come together to rejoice their love for each other. Obviously what follows is a lot of showering of goodies and gifts and lots of love.
Vikram, who was out shopping for Pooja, was a little unhappy about the fact that he won't get to spend a very long time with his sister today. "We just had to do the whole Rakhi ceremony in the morning itself since we both don't eat till she ties me the Rakhi. But I'm going to make it a point to pick her up after her shoot and spend some time with her in the evening. Also, I think I'm going to buy her a nice white purse," he says.
Not all sisters think that cash is the best alternative, though. Shrishti Arya, producer Goldie Behl's sister, and a TV producer herself says she loves the gifts she gets from her brother. "We are three sisters and we spend the entire day at Goldie's place. Before he was married, he used to only give us cash. But now that the wife has come into the picture, our gifts keep getting better," she quips, full of praise for sister-in- law Sonali Bendre, who selects all their gifts. Shrishti too will be spending the entire day at Goldie's having a traditional Punjabi lunch followed by the festivities.
