Jassi is in mood to let Armaan keep secrets to himself. She gently tugs at his arm, careful not to disturb his driving. "Armaaaaan….batao na, kahaan ja rahe hain hum?"
Armaan: Goa!
Jassi: What! Tum paagal ho gaye ho kya….hum Goa kaise ja sakte hai…kal Nandu aur Raj ki shaadi hai!
Armu: Don't worry, hum shaadi tak waapas aa jayenge….
Jassi: Armaan Suri, tumhe zaroor kuch ho gaya hai….stop the car right now.
Armaan stops the car with rather a jerk, takes her petulant face between his hands and bursts out laughing.
"Jassi, tum kitni aasaani se meri baaton mein aa gayi…main toh mazaak kar raha tha!"
She tries her best to look annoyed, but fails….and Armaan seizes the opportunity to kiss her by way of apology.
Later, when they are back on the road, she asks him again, "Ab toh bata do?"
Armu: We-ll…..hum ek bahut special jagah ja rahe hai….par wahaan pahunchne se pehle, tum yeh dress pehen lo!
He pulls out the dress he has gifted her that morning.
Jassi: (wide-eyed) Lekin kahaan?
Armu: Hum jahaan ja rahe hai, wahaan….
Soon they draw up in front of a familiar building. Jassi comes out and utters a low cry. Armu smiles and puts his arm around her. "Pehchaana?"
Jassi: (gasping) Of course….Octaviour!!
Armu: Haan Jassi….yeh haseen din, hum kuch haseen yaadon ke saath manayenge….chalo….
He leads her in and waits outside while she changes in the ladies' room. Just when he is growing impatient, she comes out, looking stunning. He catches his breath and pulls her to him, kissing her hand, not taking his eyes off her for a second.
They enter the restaurant arm-in-arm, eyes only for each other. Though it is still daylight outside, inside it is dim and cozy. They settle down at their table and place the order.
When the waiter leaves, it is her turn to kiss his hand.
"Armaan", she whispers, "thank you for such a nice surprise!"
He says nothing, but simply tucks a strand of her hair behind her ears, with a look that would melt the walls of Octaviour. But even Jassi can't tell all that he is thinking—
"Abhi surprise poora nahin hua hai, Jassi!"
