So it seems that 2 people did play some role in makin Jassi Jassica Meenakshi and Mallika.. At present I feel that Jassi did become jassica due to Meenkshi's comments that she dose'nt fit in Purab's world, not an ideal women and looks do matter..And offcourse Mallika always called her badsoorat and chashmish ..

Somewhere in the back of her mind yes. Since i have not seen the rest of the episodes pre-and post make-over, i shall reserve my judgement. But so far yes the likes of meenaxi's Mallikas, Paris....forced her to turn in Jessica..... along with the real reason the so-called love game played by out Armaan sir.....

But we all know he really was in love. But alls well that ends well..... 😳

Well, I actually don't agree with this. It wasnt because of Meenakshi and Malika that Jassi changed into Jessica. Back then, even till the day she got the makeover, she didnt care what she looked like. She didnt want to change herself so she "fit in". It was more of Nandani Ma'ams pressuring, and Jassis will on finding out who put the blame on Jassi when she left gulmohore. She wanted to clear her name, so he had to undergo a disguise. She wanted to leave everything behind.

Yes may be its true that Nandini Ma'ams pressure for her to do makeover but also I think she wanted to show Mallika that she is good and she can be in the glamour world!!!

Hey India05,

I feel that Jassi didn't become Jassica because of Mallika or Meenakshi. 😊

Meenakshi was in Jassi's life long ago and she was just a friend to Purab, when she met Jassi as Purab's fiancee. Meenakshi was from the high level society, but Purab chose Jassi over Meenakshi, because Purab liked Jassi's honesty and many other virtues.😳

He never minded her physical appearance. Purab didn't leave Jassi because she was not good-looking. He left Jassi because he felt that the kind of high level society that he was living in and the kind of parties as a businessman he had to attend, Jassi wouldn't make a perfect partner for such a high lifestyle. Because Jassi was a common middle-class girl, who gave more values to her family, work and friends more than to the status.😳

Purab perhaps wanted a hostess for the business parties he would conduct and a woman who knew to manage the business tantrums and help him in his work. Jassi surely could've helped Purab in his work, but regarding dancing in high-level parties and being a presentable hostess to those parties, was not something matching Jassi's mindframe. She proved that when she backed off from dancing with Purab.😛

Purab was also confused by Meenakshi's words that Jassi considered her work as worship and her job was most important for her. Purab understood that even after marriage, Jassi would keep Gulmohur as her first preference and Purab perhaps wanted somebody who would support him in his work and in his social life and also be a loving partner to him and spend time with him. All these were his other requirements about his lifepartner, other than points like honesty, care, principles and many other virtues which Jassi had in her. 😳

Purab clearly understood that Jassi was not his kind of life partner. He loved being a part of the middle-class family of Jassi and loved being with the elders and taking part in their small small joys. But he was going to take Jassi from them into his high-level life, where Jassi was not perfect. She would have to meet the likes of Mallika or Meenakshi who may mock her at parties, because of her simple looks. That was the reason for Purab leaving Jassi. 😛

Jassi never wanted Purab back in her life, after he left her life. Because that Jassi gave him a great chance, when she was totally willing to marry him, inspite of being truly in love with Armaan and the proposal that Armaan sir put forward to her and the way he tried to woo her. Any other girl would've chosen to remain with Armaan, than to select Purab who is just a friend. But she was forced by circumstances to chose Purab over Armaan.😕

She knew what kind of a guy Armaan was. So she knew that he was greatly influenced by Mallika and he never dared to say 'No' to Mallika regarding their marriage. She always felt that she was secondary in his life and she never wanted to be the second choice of any man. So she perhaps never took Armaan's proposal seriously even though she responded to his romantic moves and flirtations. Because her heart always loved Armaan sir.😳

But she didn't expect this kind of a behaviour from Purab, whom she trusted a lot as her friend. She had full faith that she would be marrying Purab and when he left her, she was totally shattered because her friend Purab has left her in a state to answer everyone around her and by just writing a letter to her. So it is clear that she didn't do the makeover to get Purab back. If Purab is not there in her mind, then Meenakshi has no influence on her at all.😆 So it means, that Meenakshi was not the cause of Jassi turning into Jassica.😳

By the time, the Jassi's makeover part came, the story of Jassi-Purab engagement and Purab leaving her, had all become a very past thing and i don't feel that she did it because of the memories of all that. Jassi had left that sad part of her life behind after Armaan and Jassi started sharing an intimate relationship after Purab left her. So i feel that Meenakshi is not a cause for Jassi becoming Jassica. Even after Jassi's physical makeover, Jassi didn't change totally. Her values, her feelings were all Indian, while Meenakshi and Mallika were quite different, because they could never stop being jealous or egoistic or being sarcastic.😆

Purab and Armaan were attracted to Jassi because she had an Indian girl's mind. If you have seen the episodes of launching of 'Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin Collection' on Jassi's birthday, there is a dialogue in that part, which Armaan says. Armaan says that even if you wear western dress or Indian dress, it is important that the mind should be Indian. He was directly hinting at Mallika, when he said that, because she was trying to be western in appearance as well as mind and he recognised this, because of Jassi. That was one thing that was there in Jassi, even when she became Jassica, her heart was Indian. She cared about her family, her principles and was not egoistic. 😳

Mallika and Meenakshi were the kind of women, who lived in a fool's paradise, thinking that because they are wearing fashionable dresses or moving going around parties and discos and drinking beer, they would impress men like Purab or Armaan who are from the high society. But all those didn't impress Purab or Armaan.😛

Both of them, wanted true life-partners who is Indian at heart, a girl who would be supportive, loving, honest and not at all egoistic or jealous. Armaan though he initially was influenced by looks of the girls, he only flirted with them, but never wanted to make any commitment like in the case of Kareena Modi. He agreed to marry Mallika for the sake of Gulmohur and to not lose chairmanship. But when he started seeing Jassi's truthfulness, he got attracted to her character and her virtues. He started seeing her beyond her ugliness and that made him fall in love with Jassi. 😳

Neither Armaan nor Purab were greatly influenced by the likes of Mallika or Meenakshi. Armaan was willing to marry Mallika because she belonged to his society and he felt that maybe she would make a good business partner and also help him take his company to heights. But even while he was taking the decision to marry her, each time, his heart was going against his brain. His heart wished to marry a girl like Jassi, while his brain made him remain committed to Mallika. That was why, he was repeatedly breaking engagements and backing off from marrying her.😆

Perhaps Raj was an example of a guy, who fell for the looks and if it was Raj in Purab's or Armaan's place, he wouldn't fall for the character of Jassi. He gave importance to the beauty of the women more than their intelligence or character. That was because Raj was the kind of guy, who preferred flirting with ladies, but never wanted to commit himself to any girl. Raj also started getting attracted to Jassi after she became Jassica. But unlike Armaan and Purab, his reason for the attraction to Jassica was totally her looks.😆

Jassi had to undergo the makeover, because she wanted to hide her real looks and return to India, so that she can prove her innocence. She never had the intentions of appearing beautiful. She is the kind of girl who preferred to remain as she is and didn't want to make change in her physical appearance. She knew clearly that neither Armaan loved Mallika, nor Purab loved Meenakshi, eventhough they were from the same society and were beautiful and stylish.😳

So it is clear that at no point was Meenakshi or Mallika, a reason for Jassi's turning into Jassica. She didn't have any intentions to attract Armaan by her changed looks. She also didn't want to show that she belonged to the high level society, because even if she make herself appear like that, she would've to return to her family, which belongs to the middle class and then she would become the same old Jassi.😛

So she didn't want to convert into Jassica, because her turning fashionable was worse to her than putting artificial braces on her teeth😆 as she would be feeling so out of place from her own middle class society and that was one reason why Nandini had to compel her into undergoing a makeover.😳

Jassi feared that she would lose her identity by undergoing the makeover. She feared being part of the high-level society, where only looks mattered and she would've to make company with the likes of Meenakshi and Mallika who never had true feelings and discuss fashion and behave stylishly. Armaan did once say about Mallika's emotions, that they were fake, just like some 'kaagazi formalities'.😆

Jassi therefore initially dreaded being part of high-level society. But she had to do it for the sake of her intentions to prove her innocence and to be back with her family. So its rather the circumstances that made Jassi turn to Jassica.😳
