I read somewhere that both families has a showdown and Armaan became the bad-boy that he use to be and insulted Jassi's family (making Mallika extremely happy). Jassi was boarding a train in her wedding outfit.

Well thats wat happened....Armaan's family and Jassi's family had this 'jhagda' in public...Armaan says Mallika was right, you people are just like what she said, not the nice ppl i thot u were..billu papaji says he's happy Jassi ran away instead of marrying armaan because he's just like the angel and mallika and people like that and that jassi's love hasnt changed him a bit. Armaan and co. storm out of the place, angel wants to celebrate that mallika got married to armaan instead of jassi..and ila really has the proper aarti n stuff to welcome mallika to the suri house. Armaan still looks a bit distraught and Mallika positively ecstatic! Jassi, on the other hand, has draped a shawl over her bridal dress and boards a weird train just like that, comes face to face with a strange lookin goon type guy. Jassi's family is sad but billoo papaji asks people not to search for jassi because he believes jassi must have taken this step after a lot of thought and deliberation.
