UPDATE 14 JUNE: First encounter

Ashmit Singhania's face breaks into a broad smile as he holds out his hand to Jassi.

*drum roll*

Please welcome Mr. Akashdeep Saigal as Ashmit Singhania!!!😛😛😉

He takes Jassi's hand warmly and shakes it. "Ms. Jasmeet Walia…"

She corrects him politely. "…Suri."

Ashmit: Jasmeet Suri….aapke baare mein bahut suna hai…Gulmohur ki khoobsurat aur intelligent Chairperson…kya main aapko Jassi bula sakta hun?😡 Suna hai log aapko pyaar se yahi bulaate hai?

She pulls her hand away coldly. "Main yahaan apne baare mein baat karne nahin aayi hun Mr.Singhania…"

Ashmit: You can call me "Ashmit"

Jassi gives him a "whatever" look. "Mujhe lagta hai hume kaam ki baat karni chahiye."

Ashmit: (giving her a piercing look) Of course….please be seated.

She sits down a bit nervously. He rings for coffee and snacks.

Jassi starts telling him about how she came to Kangra for a business expansion plan of GM (without giving details), and how this made her aware of the weavers' problem. She also reminds him of the law against outsiders buying land in the state.

Jassi: Kya main aapse pooch sakti hun….aapki ye land deal, legal hai ya illegal?

Ashmit: (smiling slightly) Yeh toh aapko mere lawyer se poochna chahiye!

Jassi: Land aap khareed rahe hai Mr. Singhania….aapka lawyer nahin….aapko iski legalities toh pata hi hogi? Aur ye bhi pata hoga ki aa piss land ko commercial purposes ke liye use karke, unn weavers se unka ghar, unki rozi-roti chheen rahe hai?

Ashmit: Phir wahi dukh-bhari kahaani! Jassiji, aap khud ek businesswoman hai…..aap toh jaanti hai ki har business, maximum profit ke principle pe chalta hai….yahaan 5-star hotel banane se hume crores ka profit hoga!

Jassi: Haan, har business profit pe chalta hai….lekin doosro ka haq chheen kar nahin….hamare Gulmohur ne na sirf apne employees ki taraf, balki society ki taraf bhi apni zimedaari nibhaayi hai…

Ashmit: Toh main inn logon ko compensation doonga….ye mere hotel mein naukri kar sakte hai….unhe rehne ki jagah bhi mil jayegi….

Jassi: Jahaan unke purkho ki viraasat, unki aazaadi unse chin jayegi…..

Ashmit: Jassiji, yahi toh business hota hai…..main isse zyada kuch nahin kar sakta….

Jassi rises from her seat. "Lekin main zaroor kuch karungi….unn logon ki zameen unse iss tarah jaane nahin doongi!"

She turns and walks out, ignoring the worker who has just entered with refreshments. Ashmit gazes after her thoughtfully.

"Aur main….aapko aise nahin jaane dunga…..Jassi!"😕😕

Hmmmmmmm, I am sorry blyton but I never was a fan of Aakashdeep Saigal. Well for the storyline of yours, excellent and for the actor 😕 🤢 . Sorry kya karun Apu ke elaava aur koi nahin, as for me its Apoorva jaisa koi nahin!!! 😳

Thanks Blyti, whoa Akash i didn't think of that but they did make a cute bhai-behen jodi as friends in JDJ. Maybe we can see the same here. 😆 Wishful thinking but i hope he does not get obessesed with her. Blyti can i request that we see how Armu is handling the kids while Jassi is away! 😳 😆
