Thanks for saying whatever I wanted to say ...!! Good job. I do not have anything against Purab or Samir Soni, bu then I always felt that he was central to this story, even when it seemed that way....!!

But all said and done. JJKN is still better then all the K-serials with their multiple marriages/ divorces and vengeance stories.....!!

I agree. I am excited abt the makeover but i dotn understand what the point of it is. i mean they show her as this girl with moral, values and selfesteem. when she does get a makeover she will kinda sell out. she will be liek the rest of them in a way. she will give into thwta society wants. when she becoems jassi the hottie- she will be representing the society's idea of beauty. she wont break any stereotypes she will just join the stereortype. 😭

and yes she does need a characted makeover first. i also got annoyed of he rcharacter after a while. i mean i dotn know anyone who would take so much abuse.

I AGREE TOO TO YOU ALL......here are a few points

1) in blf betty was really really ugly as in one among millions ugly, also she wanted to change(just did not know how)...hence the makeover made sense, here jassi is not ugly just a bespectacled normal girl and she has opposed any change looks and attitude wise(she drove purab crazy with her talks especially on that diamond necklace issue)....her make over does not make sense.

2) betty had a zest for living(she knew how she looked and had accepted it), jassi is forever drowninh in self pity and tears(one would think 24 yrs are enough to come in terms with ones normal looks).

3)betty loved armando head over heels...and she did not care about anything else.....so her makeover to show armando and her shock on his betrayal (he even slept with her spouting romantic stuff)made sense. armaan never crossed a certain limit, he always takes jassi to a private party(of two) as if he can't talk in public and jassi is forever spouting stuff abt how he and mallika belong together...under such circumstances , jassi's shock or her sudden desire to makeover does not make sense.

By giving Jassi a makeover, the show is completely contradicting the message and moral of the show all together. Jassi really does need a mental makeover. She needs to be taught and told that the way she IS is the way she should be. Everyone is different is their own way. By giving Jassi a makeover...what makes her any different from society? (the typical physical characteristics of a women in today's age)

Sorry........didn't get to finish. What I also wanted to say was that the reason WE ALL (as much as everyone doesn't want to admit it) are waiting and counting down to Jassi's makeover is because we too are brainwashed with what society put's in out heads. The world and environment we live in (fashion, looks, beauty, etc) we have adapted and are use to seeing EVERYONE look glamarous and beautiful. I hate to admit it, but I also live in this world but am constantly fighting to ignore the typical concept of what a women should and should not look like. Jassi is a character that should be accepted by her brains and NATURAL beatuy, not primarily on her looks (whether they be good or bad).

Yeah!!!!!!!🤔 jasssi did nothing to purab she just that she treated him like a dog on a leash😡. I think u r the one wearing Jassi's chashma😕 that is why u cant see the truth that everybody else can. Jassi is the one that made Purab feel un loved that is y he left her. u r not baised on Purabs charecter but u r baised on Jassi's charecter😕. Poor purab he loved her so much and she liked Gulmohar better than him💔 and he didnt want to come in the way of her success, so he left her with her first love gulmohar, and Arman😡.

Going strictly by what T&D have showed us on screed - Purab left because he thought Jassi wasnt good enough for him isnt it ? he suddenly (ugh 🤢) realised that they are from 2 different worlds so preferered to be a friend rather than her mangetar.

and anyway just because he loved Jassi soo much she is supposed to love him back regardless of her own feelings ? And Jassi was always devoted to her Career from the begining - didnt Purab love Jassi for what she was in totality I thought he did until the story changed so drastically

I personally feel JJKN is getting intresting now and no harm in showing that a person can look pretty with a differnt hairstyle and good clothes.

pj04 is right Jassi was never shown as ugly so the makeover doesent really make sense
