The Gulmohur staff packs up early so that they can go home and get ready for the engagement. Jaggy B can't find Pari anywhere, so he goes to look for her.
He finds her at her desk, a pile of used tissues in front of her, bawling away.
Jaggy: Pari….kya hua Pari?
Pari: Yahi toh problem hai…..kuch nahin hua…!! (bawls) Meri life mein kabhi kuch hota hi nahin…..sabki engagements ho rahi hai, bas meri hi nain ho rahi…..
Jaggy: Ch..chill Pari…..don't cry over this…mani tumhari beautiful eyes mein yeh ansoon nahin dekh sakta…
Pari looks at him and flutters her wet eyelashes. "Real-ly Jaggy?" she says sweetly. "Tum mera kitna khayal rakhte ho…..i wish meri life mein koi tumhare jaisa hota…..!"
Jaggy is thrown into a dilemma on this direct hint. He is nearly about to say, "Pari, mere jaisa kyun…..why not me?" Then he remembers his mom, and shudders. "Mom keeps saying ki mujhe kisi rich NRI ladki se shaadi karni chahiye….agar unhe pata chal gaya ki main iss bankrupt, high-maintenance Pari ke peeche hun, toh wo mujhe Jalandher wale ghar ke well mein gira dengi..!"😆
Pari is looking pleadingly at him. He is saved from making a reply by Maddy, who is standing at the door, looking very jealous.😉
Maddy: Jaggy….agar tumhe iske crocodile tears ke liye tissue supply karne se fursat mil gayi ho (Pari looks furious) toh mujhe zara pack up karne mein halp karoge?
Jaggy probably for the first time looks thankful to go with Maddy. Pari makes a frustrated sound and throws another used tissue on the desk.
That evening:
The party is in full swing at Raj's house. All the family members, friends, GM gang and other guests have arrived. Raj is walking around, smiling to himself as he fingers the ring in his pocket. Nandu is also walking around, trembling in anticipation and fingering his ring. 😳
The first thing Chaman sees when he enters is Angel, laughing away with some guests. The remixed version of "Chod do aanchal…" starts playing in his mind, and he imagines Angel in that red-and-parrot green salwar kameez again, himself walking behind her holding her aanchal in one hand and a ring in the other.😳😆
Dazed, he walks over and stands behind her, grinning over her shoulder. As soon as her guests slide away, she turns and looks questioningly at him.
Chaman: Angel ji…Angel ji….main soch raha tha ki….ki itne saare rishte jud rahe hai….toh kuch sochna chahiye hume….
Angel: (raising her eyebrows) Kya sochna chahiye? Chaman…….i know what you're suggesting…lekin main sabki tarah nahin hun, ok? Main Angel Suri ho…I will take my own time……so relax! (more gently) Jaake kuch khao na….I will wait here….main kisi ko expect kar rahi hun….
Pari, who is standing nearby, says excitedly, "Kisko? Koi handsome hunk hai kya?"
Angel: (laughing) High hopes Pari! No, it's a girl…meri bahut puraani friend hai….Canada se aa rahi hai…..
Finally the ceremony is conducted. Raj looks deeply in Neha's eyes as he slips the ring on her finger. Neha is blushing and a little nervous, and her fingers tremble a little as she puts the ring on Raj's finger.

Nandu clears his throat and speaks nervously, "Ladies and gentlemen….aaj bahut khushi ka din hai….hamare do bahut achche doston ki engagement hui hai….aur issliye, mujhe laga ki uss shubh din, main bhi ek announcement karun…!"
He turns nervously towards Beauty. "Main…main Beauty ke saath, abhi, issi waqt sagaai karna chahta hun!"😛😛😛
There are varied reactions to this:
His mom looks stupefied for a moment, then grins and says, "Antaraatma ki aawaaz! (remember those hilarious episodes when she dressed up as Asha Parekh?😆) Mere bete mein itni himmat hai…..arre waah!"
Bua looks nonplussed. Then she goes up to Nandu and gives him a light slap. "Pehle baatane mein teri zubaan ghisti thi?"
Nandu: Sorry…..sorry aunty….
Bua: Sorry da puttar…agar pehle bata deta toh kum se kum naye kapdon ki shopping karna ka mauka toh mil jaata…..(lowers her voice) ye sari main pehle hi 3 shaadiyon mein pehn chuki hoon!😆 Aur sun….ab se aunty nahin…..mummy ji bol!" She abruptly hugs him, and Nandu glas releases his breath which he has been holding all this while.
Billu is about to say something but Bebe merely grins and signals to him to relax. Amrit is giggling.
Raj is thinking, "Aur kya umeed ki ja sakti hain Nandan Verma se…..apni engagement party ka kharcha bachaane ke liye, kanjoos ne meri hi sagaai ke saath apni bhi combine kar li!"😆😆😆
Pari nearly faints and has to be supported by Nazneen, who shudders under her weight.
And Beauty?
She is standing with no expression at all. Nandu gives her a wide-eyed look and asks, "Tum kuch bolti kyun nahin Beauty….i know maine tumse pehle poocha nahin….par ab pooch raha hun….tum taiyar ho na?"
Beauty is silent still, but holds out her hand for Nandu's ring. He grins in relief and slips it on her finger. Needless to say, there is applause all around.
