I will be posting the DOTW this week
This weeks our topic is.....
Armaan(Apurva)

Here are some questions to get you all started with our DOTW.......

1. What was your first reaction about Armaan?

2. What made you fall for him even with his bratty attitude.

Confused....I couldnt make what the heck he was.I swear.....All thought was wow ...'a Really hot boss...In both senses..'

2. What made you fall for him even with his bratty attitude. I Think its his underlying innocence which at times touches me more than jassi's.The way at times he uncannly speaks the truth without meaning to...You can 'feeeel' it...😆

I guess His dad really expected a Lot from him.And Mommmy dear seemed more close to mallika than her own son.Instead of the occasional 'Dad son' talk I think Puru should have a more conscious effort to Make armaan mor close to him that he doesnt end up hiding things out of Fear and shame and yes doesnt end up doing things just to make his parants happy.

4. How did you feel when Armaan pretended to love Jassi? But I realy thought somehwere someday he 's gonna get trapped in his own game.Armaan 's biggest weakness/strength was his emotional side.It always got the better of him.He never unnecssarily went out of the way to hurt people intentionally like Mallika and Aryan sometimes do.He just didnt know where to draw the line between right and wrong.
5. What are your opinions on Casanova Armaan? ITs the kind of society that he is brought up in and of course Having raj for a friend and a possesive Fiancee...I gues it gave him the thrill to run behind girl behind her Back. I6. Why do you think he still chased girls despite being engaged and loved sooo much by Mallika? I think more the possesive Mallika become the more he felt the need to run after others.And I guess commitiment phobia .....And yeah well Think we need a sychologist to explain why a casonoava is a casonova..😉
7. Atlast What did you like about Armaan?His personality?Acting? Armaan's personality...Apu's acting..😆

Well here's what I think………… 😉

1. What was your first reaction about Armaan?

I hadn't seen JJKN from the beginning but later from IF and what my Mom told me-I liked Armaan but from the time I started watching JJKN regularly I fell in luv with Armaan.

2. What made you fall for him even with his bratty attitude.

Even though Armaan was arrogant he was never bratty. In fact he was kind at heart which is quite evident from the fact that he felt for Jassi even when others just offended her. Armaan was immature and childish at times and he easily got carried away by emotions but he was definitely sensible when needed. When he married Mallika- he was carried away by his anger for Jassi but when he realized it-it was too late. His heart knew he was always Jassi's even though he tried to deny the fact. However after knowing Jassi's innocence he tried his best to make Jassi happy again but came to know that Jassi had married Raghav and thus then he felt all was lost. He was a human and like normal mortals he also made mistakes but he was always ready to admit them.
This fiery yet passionate character of Armaan made me fall for him.

3. Do you think the way mommy and papa suri treated him made a difference in his attitude?

In the first part of Jassi, I don't think that Armaan's Mom and Dad ever supported Armaan in the true sense. For instance even though Armaan told his Dad that he didn't wish to marry Mallika- just for the sake of Gulmohur, his Dad forced him to marry her by telling Armaan that he would divide Gulmohur in three parts. Armaan was always more or less alone and there was no one to help him in his troubles. I think this is the fact why he became so dependent on Jassi as then Jassi became the only person with whom he could share all his problems even matters regarding his GFs. He became more arrogant and desperate due to his Mom and Dad's attitude towards him.

4. How did you feel when Armaan pretended to love Jassi?

I don't blame Armaan as it was actually his best friend who had told him to do all this. Remember the "Jassi Patao Abhian/mission"?? Even when he was absolutely pretending with Jassi he always felt guilty about it and never laughed or joked regarding this thing- which I'm sure most people like Armaan would have done.

5. What are your opinions on Casanova Armaan?

I luv Armaan always- even as a Casanova. I feel he was cute and sweet even when he flirted with girls.

6. Why do you think he still chased girls despite being engaged and loved sooo much by Mallika?

Because he never loved Mallika and he was very clear about that. And about running after girls, I'll quote what Raj said to Armaan-"once a flirt-always a flirt!!"

7. Atlast What did you like about Armaan?His personality?Acting?

I luv every single bit of Armaan. He was just the perfect blend of love, passion, sweetness and cuteness together with arrogance, attitude, rudeness and anger. He was a person who at times could get carried away by emotions in a second and act without thinking and yet he could think about matters calmly and sensibly and reason out his behavior. He could be easily conquered by anger which was his greatest back draw- yet he was the most charming and romantic soul I have ever known. He definitely lived up to his name-'Armaan'-the greatest desire, for it has been Armaan all the time for whom the whole story of JJKN developed. He had always been Jassi's desire and Mallika's fight with Jassi to get back Armaan at all cost was actually what JJKN was all about.
And last but not the least-very honestly no one other than Apurva would have been able to bring life to Armaan-as if we think of it honestly we would understand that if Armaan was played by someone other than Apurva we won't have felt the same magic and the same passion. It was actually Apurva's presence that mesmerized us and it was his fantabulous acting that made Armaan sooo desirable to all of us.

Well I took almost an hour to type this. Actually I was going on and on and on and on…………but I decided to stop as, if I don't stop now I would end up writing a book about Armaan and thus Apurva. 😉

1. What was your first reaction about Armaan? ahhhhh Mr. Cutie!

2. What made you fall for him even with his bratty attitude. his dimples...

3. Do you think the way mommy and papa suri treated him made a difference in his attitude? yes!! they made him bratty by not allowing him to grow up..and that is found in a lot of cases with rich families. Not stereotyping though, coz not all rich families have bratty kids...take abhi, for example...
4. How did you feel when Armaan pretended to love Jassi? ahhh angry !!

5. What are your opinions on Casanova Armaan? may i have him?😳
6. Why do you think he still chased girls despite being engaged and loved sooo much by Mallika? coz he didn't love her😉

nope. It was J. 😊 when he realised he likes her, he just well.. totally changed. I dont think mommy and papa were around much to hv any effect on him.

I was just marvalling at Raj's smartest ideas. 😛
