Apu's interview on Dhanno Bole Toh

After KO appeared on Yesterday's DBT, today Apu was interviewed. I missed the beginning but I'll update whatever I saw:

Maninee was asking him about his new role as Raju Rangeela.

Apu: Well...it is a chance to do something different for a brief while...or for a long while....it depends....

Maninee: (grinning) What does your wife Shilpa think of your new role?

Apu: Ha ha....she said, "Do well!" Actually she liked the name Raju Rnageela a lot. 🤔😕😕 This is the first time a role like this is being done on Indian TV, i think.....it's going to be like SRK😕, with a bit of Dev Anand.

Maninee: We hear you are planning to turn director?

Apu: Dreams are one thing, reality another...but yes, it is a big dream for me....not right now, I think i have a few years of acting left....but maybe 5-6 years later when you come to a set and see an assitant serving tea and snacks, that might be me! (laughs)

Maninee: (looking extremely embarrassed) You have been linked up with your costar in kaajal....

Apu: (sternly) Trying to reason with idiots is like trying to teach monkeys the Gita....so i dont bother

(He spoke in Hindi so something might be lost in translation)

Comments: Nothin new here....but it's so FUNNY to know that SS actually LIKED that weird name!!! 🤣
