Armaan reaches Gulmohur and looks around for Raj. Nazneen informs him that he phoned in the morning to say that he would be late. Armaan shrugs his shoulders and sets about his work.
Jassi gets dressed to go the Oberois. Scooping up Ashish in her arms, she goes into Ila's room.
Ila: (smiling as she enters) Kahin ja rahi ho, Jassi beta?
Jassi: Haan Mamma……mujhe Uma aunty ka phone aaya tha….mujhe bahut yaad kar rahi hai…..toh maine socha, ki Ashish aur Vedika ko bhi unse mila dun….
Ila: Theek hai, lekin Armaan ke aane se pehle waapas aa jana…shaam ko sab log ghar pe hone toh achcha lagega…..
Jassi nods and smiles, then leaves. On her way to the Oberois, she picks up Vedika from school and takes her to a pizza joint for a treat. The little girl sits cheerfully munching on her olives and cheese while Jassi tends to Ashish.
All of a sudden, she gets the feeling that someone is watching her. She turns around and looks at the other diners, but finds nothing unusual. The room is anyway too crowded for her to distinguish anyone clearly. So she shakes her head as if shaking off her misgivings too, and returns her attention to her children.
When Vedika has finished, she bundles them both into the car, saying, "Aaj main tumhe kisi se milaane le ja rahi hun…"
Vedika: (wide-eyed) Kisse Jassi mamma?
Jassi: (smiling fondly) Meri ek bahut achchi aunty hai, Uma aunty…..bilkul aapki naani ki tarah….aur unke saath ek Meera aunty bhi rehti hai…..aur pata hai, unki ek beti hai, Karishma…wo tumse thodi-si badi hogi….milna chahogi unse?
Vedika nods happily, and they drive off. On arriving at the Oberoi mansion, Gajanan Kaka greets them warmly. Everything seems to be the same at the mansion. Uma comes forward affectionately to meet her, but Meera is nowhere to be seen. Uma informs Jassi that Meera is now responsible for running the entire business and so spends nearly all her time at the office, while Karishma is spending the day at a friend's place. Uma takes an instant fondness to both Vedika and Ashish, and spends the entire time playing with them. Jassi looks on indulgently, thinking, "Mujhe inse milne pehle aana chahiye tha….inki zindagi mein kitna akelapan hai…..jab main akeli thi toh inhone mujhe kitna pyaar diya tha….aur aaj inhe meri zaroorat hai…."
Armaan is just winding up his day's work when he is confronted by Raj, who looks worried.
Armaan: Kya hua…..tu itna parshaan kyun lag raha hai?
Raj: (anxiously) Armaan, tune Jassi ko CJ ke baare mein bataya ki nahin?
Armu: Nahin, mauka hi nahin laga (ahemmm….he was blushing, probably remembering just what had kept them both too busy to bother about pink chaddis!😉😳) ….but what's the big deal? Main usse aaj bata dunga……
Raj: (feverishly) Armaan, bahut badi problem ho gayi hai….
Armu: (freezing) Kya hua? Kuch bata toh sahi…!
Raj: Mujhe Mr.Malkani ne inform kiya hai ki CJ ne jail mein rehte hue bhi kaafi powerful contacts bana liye hai….aur koi aadmi hai, jo uske saath kaam kar raha hai aur uss bahar ki saari information la ke de raha hai😕….Armaan, agar CJ ke haath mein itni taaqat hai, toh tum aur Jassi dono khatre mein ho…aur shayad Neha bhi…. (wipes his forehead) ….tu jaldi se Jassi ko phone kar….
Armaan phones Jassi, who picks it up gaily, only to be alarmed at the serious note in his voice. "Jassi, tum kahan ho…maine tumhe kaha tha na ki aaj shaam hum dono ghar pe rahenge…phir?"
Jassi, taken aback, explains where she is and why she came. Armaan just tells her to come hone quickly and puts the phone down.
Raj: Kahan hai Jassi?
Armaan tells him. Raj looks even more worried. "Oberois ke ghar? Wo jagah ko shayad uske liye sabse dangerous hai….CJ ke ghar tha wo, pata nahin uski nazar wahaan bhi ho….!"
Both look grim as the camera freezes on them.
