Today's update
It starts with jassi thinking to her self, Purab (The phantom!!) still looms on her mind, she is telling to herself why purab why did you do this to me. She then tells her self that how will she inform her parents of what happened, she tells to herself that when she wanted to make things clear the fire happened and then when she wanted to tell her parents about Purab bebe got sick, now she doesnt know what to do. She also then says that she never even had thought about marriage then why did it happen to her, why had purab come in her life and why did he had to do this (sigh first recycled scenes now recycled dailogue). She then tells that everything is happening to her. WE cut to aryaans office he is speaking to mallika on phone i think he has informed mallika about the pilicy lapse, also about the bounced check. He tell mallika that he has an idea following which jassi will resign herself from Gulmohar. He then tells mallika that he wont tell her on phone, and he tells her to come to his office as he is in his cabin. he disconnects. We are taken to jassi's house, the preparation for sagaai have heated and bebe and billu both are busy in preparations. bebe complains to billu as to why did he eliminated two dishes from the menu, billu tells bebe that because he doesnt like them, bebe tells so what its not for him but its for purab. he tells him so everything that purab will like will be ordered. bebe tells him that he is not only a father now he is also now a father in law and that he should take care of what purab likes. The gang calls nandu to ask about purab, nandu replies that how can he know, purab is a busy person he could be anywhere between amritsar to LA. Bindyaa disconnects the phone, bindyaa remarks that they are not able to get anything about purab and even nandu doesnt know anything. Naaz suggest that if they can ask jassi, bindyaa tells it wont be the right course of action as jassi is sad these days and it wont be appropriate to ask her. On the flip side nandu seriously thinks to himself what is purab upto as he has not even contacted anyone in office is he really planning a big suprise for the sagaai.
Jassi is in office and is still tensed just then aryaan and mallika come in . now all the comments of both of them are in sarcastic tone. jassi getsup from her seat, aryaan asks jassi if she knows that the 8 crore rupees policy of gulmohar has lapsed and that it is because she was too busy in her dreams about her self and her dreamboy purab. Mallika tells her that how can she hurt the reputation of gulmohar by giving a 2.5 crore cheque without the funds being available, does she knows how bad it is for gulmohar reputation, aryaan says that does she knows that she can get arrested for it, mallika: think what news it would be for Gulmohar, that Gulmohar CEO involved in fraud case. Jassi just looks at them, she tries to tell once that she is the insuarance lapse happend before she become CEO. But aryaan and mallika dont give her a chance to explain. Aryaan then tells jassi that now she has to arrange for the money, he tells her to borrow money from her pagal premi purab (no more a pagal!!). Jassi just looks at him, mallika then tells her yes get the money from him, jassi tells them how can she ask from purab, aryaan tells kyon uski 400 crore ki property kab kaam aayegi (ok aryaan defintely an armaan fan, 400 crore were always a pain to armaan fans lols). He tells her to borrow it and that when Gulmohar will have the money she can return it to him. Jassi tells she cant, mallika tells her kyon kya tumhare husband ko tum par itna bharosa nahi hain. mallika tells her that jab se tum CEO bani hoo tab se tumhare nakhre badh gaye hain, ab tumhe pata chala ke jiski shakal itni badsoorat ho uska dimaag bhi badsoorat hota hain. Then aryaan tells her that in the board meeting today you will have to either arrange for the money, or she will have to face the board and answer them about the policy laspe and the check bounce.
Jassi just looks at them, She tells herself, armaan sir aap kaha hain.
Armaan is show entering a gift shop, where he is to buy something for jassi as a sagaai gift, he goes through various stuff and then he buys a mirror he says to him self, 'jassi main chahta hoon ki tum tumhari nahi zindagi ki shurwaat kushi se karoo', the mirror is like ones used by princess and encrypts on its edges for 'For jassi's who's heart is as clear as a mirror.' He then goes to find a gift for purab. he thinks yeh sagaain purab ki bhi to hain, mujhe uske liye bhi kuch lena chahiye. We are then taken to nandu who is outside i guess jassi's house he gets a call and he says what!!
He then tells someone that he is going to come back soon. We are then taken to jassi's office she is talking to babaji she tells babaji meri maddat karoo, in jassi's house bebe is also praying to babaji she tells babaji jassi ki maddad karoo woh kuch takleef main hain, uski madad karoo. Just then aryaan comes in the cabin of jassi he tells her if the arrangement for the money is done, if it is not done then you need to postpone your engagment becuase it is not allowed in lockup to held and engagement, he then tells her to come to the board room on time to explain her mistakes. jassi just looks at him. She then again says that yeh sab purab ki wajah se ho raha hain, purab ke naam se mera naam juda tabse mere saath aisa ho raha hain. yeh sab mere saath hi kyon hua.
We are then shown jassi entering a boardroom, Puru, Aryaan and mallika are sitting and one outside person is sitting. Aryaan calls the shots and he asks the people of board if they know why are we here. they all nod. he then asks jassi what does she has to say about the policy lapse and the bounce check, she tells nothing, aryaan says does this means that you are guilty, jassi tells yes and says that she is ready to take all the responsibility. Aryaan says great, then it is clear that you wont remain a CEO, now what Gulmohar needs is alot of money, and for that he has a proposal, he then points to the out person sitting and tells them that he is ready to invest in Gulmohar, then the person starts speaking and he says that he is a investor who invest in company's who have good potential but are marred by wrong decisions he also tells them that the check was bounced to his company. he then tells them that he has full confidence on Gulmohar but he doesnt has confidence on the present CEO, and that he is ready to invest if Aryaan becomes the CEO because he knows aryaan from long back and that he will invest once aryaan is appointed as CEO, Aryaan tells them since the 50 % board is present the decision can be taken now. he ask PURU if puru agress, puru nods, mallika also nods, he then asks jassi, jassi says whatever is good for Gulmohar she agrees to that idea (she has tears in her eyes). He then tells her to resign. Jassi starts to leave aryaan tells her that she doesnt has to leave as the it was very urgent he has already got her resignation papers ready and then he gives her the file to resign. Jassi looks at the file she takes it and then she opens it and there is the resignation letter. she then tells to herself, ek yehi to cheez bachi thi mere paas, ab yeh bhi nahi rahegi, she then tells sahi hain, mujhe jaisi ladki ke saath aisa hi hona chahiye, as she is about to sign the letter. Armaan comes into the room and he says 'Ek Min Jassi' (Ok I guess his Thela has progressed and he has 8 crore in his right pocket, no wait, left pocket,). The camera pans on all the people present there and then in the end it focuses on jassi.
