Jassi Jassi koi Nahi has been one big triumph for SONY. The two lead characters Armaan and Jassi had won the hearts of millions by their irreplaceable chemistryšŸ‘šŸ‘. But have you ever thought about this that the character Jassi was only in glare of publicity? šŸ˜•

Though Apurva aka Armaan had played the character of a business tycoon but he always depended on JassišŸ˜•. On the preliminary days of JJKN Armaan Suri was shown to be brawny character, with the zeal in his eyes to get right to the top šŸ˜›but just when Jassi joined in this character was over shadowed. He couldn't do one thing right. Even it was jassi who even after marriage acted as the man in the household and office.šŸ˜•

This is really substandard that how Diya and Tony blemished the character of Armaan. He became a road side Romeo, or in other terms Jassi's husband😭. It's for sure that this serial was about an unsightly duckling turning swan and on its journey Armaan a prince charming joins in but that doesn't mean that only Jassi had the capabilities to thrive not Armaan Sure.

Well I know we have many Armaan fan's here. The way I said it's for sure that I will be getting beating of chappal and jhadoo from all the ladies out therešŸ˜†. Please be a bit bighearted while doing so.šŸ˜‰

Samar, yes. Armaan did very wrong things such as losing his house and GM etc. As ardent fans of Armaan, we all had complained about that given behaviour and debacle of Armaan's strength and abilities. But the title of the show said it all- JJKN.. so it was wrong to expect anything else.. 😭
I am just very thankful 😃 that post-wedding fiasco Miss Maksad J 🤢 came back to her senses in the end and stayed with Armaan 😃 rather than remaining the hopeless fake Mrs. Motor Mouth 🤢 she had become.

yeah I agree with mermaid , The story was about two people completing each other's flaws while jassi was instrumental in transforming arman from an arrogant, insensitive and manipulative guy to a one who could love and be loved .

whereas jassi , who wouldhave never got a job until the arrogant arman suri gave her , directly or indirecty arman was responsible for creating the feelings of love in her and also gives her the confidence to prove herself in Gulmohur .

As per the origianal from whcich JJKN was made, it was always meant to be the growth of two individuals as a person when they come across each other. In the original, arman was never a moping hero in the post makeover period, when jassi comes back, arman sincerely and honestly works for the betterment of the company with jassi and infact in the end resigns and gives away the company to jassi for his love was greater than anything in the world .Unfortunately the indian makers completely ruined it and somehow just screwed the story where their growth just stagnated and from positive they became negative and their character was going through a downfall with the story . In the original mallika played sucha dignified character who would never lose her self-respect for anything and infact in the end,its her who tells the truth to jassi abt arman's true love and asks her to help him inspite of hating her even then. But here, they butchered mallika's character .

all said and done , the one thing that i appredciate t&d for is that atleast they never had innumerable marriages and one night stands and plastic surgeries and rebirth or illegitimate children and most of all a leap . The lead pair remained faithful when they got together in malaysia and their love stood strong .

great post samar and I agree with ur views to a certain extent that arman's character was butchered but it wasnt to show jassi's power but bcoz they lost it and they had to drag the story . Infact even jassi lost her character when she becomes jessica bedi and also when she starts on her revenge mode against arman and stuff .so Overall , u can concluse that Tony and deeya along with tarun katiyal ruined the story and made it miserable .

I agree with you Samar. In Indian Television, serials are mostly female dominated. So much so that males dont get to show their talants in acting. If you see,all the stories are running around females. I think,it is because the viewers are mostly women. Our males only prefer to watch News & sports. that is why those saas-bahu serials are popular.& TV channels don't take chance(or should I say risk?) showing anything else.

But I think that JJKN was different in that aspect coz arman equally given equal importance ,it wasnt like get another guy for jassi and leave arman out, the story revolved around GM and the main people behind it and infact during the initial episodes everybody had importance given , their parts even maria's character had a story which is very rare to find in other serials. Nandu and pari had a story, aryan had atarck of his own, bindiya had her story .....maddy his own

That was the best part of JJKN , everyone had a story of their own in the initial 2 years in GM and they also revolved around the lead of JJKN thats arman and jassi.

I think JJKN was the only show where arman was given equal importance to jassi and he was a strong character and not played a second fiddle to Njassi esp in the initial 2 years which were the best part of JJKN

Well, they had to follow the original one-at least in the initial years. It was at the last stage that they spoiled the serial...dragged it too far besides ruining the characters. Whatever, Apu was his best in JJKNšŸ‘

Btw i caanot explain any character after post jessica. That whole thing about jassi irritaed me no end.But the growth Armaan's character had was Truly remarkable.Jassi we always loved but our love for armaan just grew over a period of time.I think JJKn could be nothing without Armaan Mallika Aryan etc.. šŸ˜›
