I bet you it's Raj....he knew Jassi as Jessica Bedi....he told Armaan not to fall in love with Jessica or have Jessica fall in love with him....he tried to leave anonymous letters letters fopr Jessica at her hotel/house in earlier episodes....he then saved Jassi from court by taking all the blame on his head and absolving her of any wrong doing....he plotted to have her escape from jail and appear in court as Jassi.....and remember that Purab was in hospital at the time the verdict was announced.....Raj probably determined that had he harmed Jassi nobody would suspect him...and in the process "agar woh Raj ki nahin hui toh kisi ki nahin ho gi..."

i also feel the same .......raj sounds like the one behind all ths ,,,,,he was also not happy when jessica met arman in the restaurant after the videotape incident and then his denial near the courtroom and then probably he saved jassi so that no one would suspect him and also coz he wanted jessica out of the jail .........lets see

Puru had been keeping up w/ Jessica/Jassi's trial by television, but he is still upset about what happened to his company...he also somehow finds out that Armaan loves Jassi & is infuriated further! so, out of rage, the old man finally decides to hire someone to murder Jassi...😕😕😕
